Spirituality can be a powerful force for healing, but what happens when it becomes a mask for avoidance? In this conversation, our guest Ananta Ripa Ajmera explores the rising phenomenon of spiritual bypassing: using spiritual language to escape responsibility, dismiss effort as “divine timing,” or rationalize inaction as destiny.Ananta offers radical responsibility as the antidote: taking full ownership of our choices and recognizing that karma shapes every dimension of life. Drawing on Ayurveda and her own wisdom, she explains how true healing requires more than herbs and therapies; it demands selfless service, emotional honesty, and courage to face our inner wounds.Episode HighlightsSpiritual Bypassing and InactivityReal Meaning of Navratri Karma, Forgiveness, and ServiceBhagavat Gita and Krishna’s LessonsThe Path of Radical ResponsibilityTimestamps00:00 – 09:45: Introduction and Spiritual Bypassing09:45 – 22:12: The Goddess Journey Through Chakras22:12 – 24:41: New Beginnings, Forgiveness, and Service24:42 – 31:44: The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita31:45 – 36:52: Friendship with the Self and the Power of Truth36:53 – 42:23: Conflict as Medicine and the Practice of Sthitaprajna42:23 – 51:57: The Path of Radical Responsibility51:57 – 01:01:12: The Essence of Spiritual HealingAbout Ananta Ripa Ajmera A spiritual teacher and 10-time award-winning, 2-time bestselling author of The Way of the Goddess and The Ayurveda Way. In today’s episode, delve into the root causes of anxiety through the lens of both modern science and Ayurvedic wisdom. I respectfully disagree. The situation isn’t improving—it’s actually getting worse. We’re witnessing a troubling decline in humanity. Technology, instead of benefiting everyone, is often built upon the exploitation of people, child labor, and the destruction of our environment. Our pineal glands are suffering due to blue light exposure and the addictive nature of social media. Capitalism has turned into a harmful force, and our food is often genetically modified. The list of issues is extensive. What we need most is an evolution of consciousness. More info available at https://www.sanatvaayurvedic.com/
I couldn’t find the grace she spoke of in this episode.
I have to disagree. It’s not getting better, it’s worsening. There is an acute devolution of humanity. Technology isn’t benefiting all humanity when you consider our technology is built off the backs of exploited people, child slavery and the degradation of nature. Our pineal glands are sick from blue light and social media addiction. Capitalism has become a disease. Food is genetically modified. The list goes on. Consciousness must evolve first.
