After a time away from doing the podcast I felt a huge need to really do this episode. During the recording of it just nothing sat right with me on the events following the killing of Breonna Taylor and I think not just myself but black people in general, have had enough. 

Today we talk about the taking over of streaming services and how Disney is somehow taking on the entire cinema industry with one move, having the theatrical release of the Live Action Mulan going straight to Disney+...but for a price. As if quarantine didn't have enough wild stuff going on we talk about the impact that could have on literally everyone.

This week we have bad audio but great stories! 

So with all of the current things that are going on in the world, I had to take the time to really sit and think and process about all of this shit and man, you know what, I just can't. I don't have it in me.  But hey maybe next week we will have some better content but here is what you get for now. 

As the first official episode of the Canon Culture Podcast for this season I really just wanted to take the time to just introduce a bit of my goals and ambitions for the podcast and really hit home what some of the episodes will be about. We don't get into too much entertainment talk on this one but I'm sure you guys don't mind. Enjoy the episode.

So today I’m starting my journey of solo podcasting specifically for behind the scenes on creating content and life in general

From my experience in the podcasting space there has been a few things I have learned and one of them is that consistency is not ALWAYS complacency. Sometimes establishing that routine is such a core value that it's really what can make you successful or have you on your knees crying playing Marvin's Room in the background.
