The other night I came home from a day full of clients and meetings and then I was up late answering emails and client messages…and when I finally finished for the day I said to my boyfriend, “I don’t feel like I’m doing enough.”Which in retrospect this is kind of ridiculous…I crushed my to do, but also added to my to-do list as I went so in reality I was setting myself up for failure. We are in full-blown Oireachtas season and this time of year there are dancers who are super excited, celebrating their success…and others who are extremely frustrated because they worked their butt off, put in so much time and energy, and still didn’t get the placement they wanted.It’s easy to talk about success and how great it feels to work hard and then see results pay off.
