great episode but again Shivam takes the stance that innistrad does an injustice to religion when I would argue the opposite that it in fact does a more realistic depiction of real world theology, obviously minus the actual angels and magic that takes place in this fictional world.

Just as the title suggests it's a very religion heavy episode. Nothing wrong about that except that there are some very strange takes on magics representations. They spoke about escapism but I think many go to games like this to escape from real life actively damaging real world beliefs, much better magic keeps doing what it always did.
it breaks my heart when the designer is so young and has soooo limited knowledge of the game. he seems perfectly nice but dang stop introducing so many redonk op cards every set! op doesn't mean fun every time
In addition to Wheeler time I would love to see a return of Lauder time. Great episode.
as always my frustrations with Blake grow. thought maybe Shivam could help him out but he actively chooses to remain ignorant of what actually goes on and addresses problems no one asked him too
I like that you two treated captain like a real format that failed. that was commanders quarters doing a video as a joke to help voice his displeasure with wizards and that stupid secret lair. also I can't imagine a reality where someone would come into the format and across a walking dead card that their friends or other search results wouldn't show up. plus they are far too expensive for a new player to start with. thanks as always though Shivam for all the great content

Some good magic Shivam talk front and back but a very large middle section heavy into religion and their beliefs. if you are into that cool, if not just a heads up.
Gonna be a cool podcast from one of my favorite people. lookin forward to more episodes of this podcast.
