TURN ZER0 GAMING

Howdy folks! Holy moly it's the most regular update since Nashcon, something must be wrong...or right...I don't know but I do know we're back with another episode! This week Chris and Sooner get together again sans Todd and talk all things TTS Season 6 where our very own semi-finalist Sooner regales us with his exploits and talks about his top cut matches to get to this point. We also address Sam Spam taking up the entire top 4 and ruminate on some other balance questions as well as what power affiliations will show up in the next league when changes hit. Casual Chris updates everyone on shop happenings at TAG recently, and we go over the new X-Men/Brotherhood spoilers. Crazy how fast time passes! A whole month since our last episode, jeez! Sorry folks, Sooner abandoned us, and then Todd abandoned us, but never fear we're here with a fresh episode of the Turn Zer0 Podcast! This week is as straightforward as it gets, with Todd on the lam playing Flesh and Blood, Chris and Sooner get together to talk about new updates for some of our older characters. We talk Medusa, Valkyrie, Enchantress, and the Guardians! We also introduce Sooner's TTS Corners new theme music as voted on by the Turn Zer0 Music League, answer a listener question, and talk about the state of the game. Hello friends - we have an interesting episode for you today.  We went into this with just a terrible plan in place to read some character cards and riff on Twitch comments and Discord questions for a whole episode. We successfully did that. HOWEVER, it went off the rails in a few places. Number one, nobody hit record on our audio recorder so this audio is ripped directly from the Twitch stream and is therefore of questionable quality and essentially uneditable..or at least it would take more effort to edit than I have. Also, we were a little loose with the booze from the three hours we spent at a bar before the podcast while waiting for Sooner to be ready so it gets a little wild. ANYWAY. We do in fact talk about all the things in the episode title but there's also a lot of nonsense, which is basically our calling card now. So we hope you enjoy and we'll catch you for the next one!

Hey folks! We're back after a bit of a hiatus after that tier list nonsense. This week Sooner, Todd, and Chris are here to talk about reroll rules "clarifications", cover some TTS league business, and dig into Omega Red, Jean Grey, and Cassandra Nova's character cards. This week Sooner, Chris and Todd are on deck and start things off with a little TTS update and then finally catch up on releases by talking Scarlet Witch and her impact on the game, and especially TTS rosters since her release. We also talk about War Machine, and the new Captain America who brings a fun new affiliation ability to the Avengers which might give the OG faction a new lease on life! We also wrap up with some listener questions. Be on the lookout for an updated tier list in the next few weeks!

This week Sooner, Todd, and Chris are joined by Mike to talk about new releases! We cover Quicksilver and his impact or lack of impact on the game, the possibility of redemption for Mister Sinister, and yet another busted extract messing up the game for us (this was recorded before the announcement that the objective should be on map C). We tried to limit our conversation to characters we've played from the new release so we don't get to Sin and Scarlet Witch this episode but we still have plenty to talk about! This week Sooner left Todd and Chris home alone while he went on vacation and of course, they ran amok with their neighborhood pal Menion. The kids talk Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Mr. Sinister who Todd refers to as the most "Meh" of all the "Meh" characters in the game. Can a take that boring be spicy?? Anyway, we also get into the new banned/restricted list where our old friend Hired Muscle makes a re-appearance almost 6 months after we announced the card was busted on the podcast. We then jump to introducing Sin and Viper and our impressions on these two characters releasing in May. Chris and Todd then talk local with an update on their in-person Infinity War League. We wrap up by taking some listener questions which ends strong with some ideas on how to fix some ongoing "runaway" extract objective problem plaguing the competitive scene.

AMG hit us with some high-powered spoilers this week so we had to enlist some extra help to talk about them all! We talk about the TTS league finals, jump into Cable and Domino as well as our feelings on X-Force, and finish with a lot of discussion about Mysterio, Carnage, and especially The Amazing Spider-Man!

This week we have Chris, Todd, Sooner, and special guest Mike! We talk TTS top 4 featuring our good friend Merzain, as well as discuss Bob, Agent of Hydra. We spend the last half of the podcast talking about a mildly controversial topic involving the TTS league and its relationship to in-person games. We discuss whether skills are transferrable between the two and how the tournament structure affects play.

This week Todd, Sooner, and Chris get together to discuss a whole lot of.....not much going on the last two weeks but don't worry we keep it entertaining for you as usual. We talk TTS Season 4 results for Todd and Sooner, dig into what we think might show up in the finals with roster changes imminent, talk about Inhumans now that we've gotten them on the table, plus answer your podcast questions! Talk about something out of nothing, right??

In this episode Todd, Chris, and Sooner get together to talk about current TTS season 4 results then jump right into Inhumans! We do a short breakdown of each Inhuman character and what makes them strong, but take a deep dive on the bulldog and go into the kinds of plays he can enable on the field and whether it's good for the game. We then switch gears to talk about the state of turn one plays and their impact on the game right now and what we expect going forward.

This week Sooner, Chris, and Todd tackle a number of topics and have too much to say to limit us to one theme so welcome to the grab bag! We talk TTS Season 4 updates, playing against the meta, how to deal with dice that sometimes go bad, A-Force, TAG auction draft results, and more!
