Welcome back to the Dead Dads Society, and if this is your first visit, welcome to the club. This is the therapy group in the form of a podcast and I have another great solo episode for you today. I took a few weeks off to get back into the swing of things, and now I'm raring to go! This week marks four years since my father died, so I talk about the occasion and how we should commemorate birthdays and significant dates when loved ones pass away. In this episode, I'm continuously interrupted by my cat Max, so I make a game out of seeing how long it takes him to find his way into the home. It's a really tense environment. Since it was Halloween the other day, I spoke about my favourite Halloween movies and did a deep dive into Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.'s relationship, among other things. In the last few days my photo and name has been doing the anti-vaxxer / Covid conspiracy rounds as an actor being paid to pretend to have COVID. I've been getting abusive messages, being tagged 24/7 and having a whale of a time. The Daily Mail did an article about it, I did a Tiktok which has gone semi viral and now I'm having some fun with it so I chat about that. I also chat about my lockdown rewatching of The Office and How I Met Your Mother. I air my grievances about Bob Saget doing the voiceover for HIMYM and I give a shoutout to severely underrated actor Bradley Whitford. You may know Tannah from her time on The Voice or you may know her as the pastor's daughter from a church in Waverley. We talk about growing up as the pastor's daughter and the scrutiny that accompanies it, losing two Grandpas within weeks of each other and a scary night in her teen years.
