So many ministries are created out of people's own places of healed pain or met need. Causing them to want to "tear off the roof" to bring that same healing to others. How might God use your healed pain in this way?
At the beginning of this year, we talked a lot about creating quiet in our lives. I don't know about you, but mine has already gotten louder. So, this is what I felt like God spoke to my heart. I hope it is helpful to you.
Are you willing to tear off the roof to get people to Jesus?
Has God planted you somewhere you're not quite sure you want to be? Could you be missing His best by resisting it?
Did you know that worship is a powerful weapon in spiritual warfare? This is a brief story of how God showed me this life-changing truth. You can listen to the full video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIlxopjAR14
Your heart has a real enemy. However, this is a powerful reminder that Jesus gets the last word. Listen to the full video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIlxopjAR14
How often do we take our questions to the Lord, wait on His answer, then trust Him? That's what we are going to talk about on today's musing.
Need a breakthrough? Need direction? This might be the very tool you need.
You might be surprised where our self-sufficiency leaves Jesus.
How do you handle closed doors in your life? Could it be that they are protecting you from the wild animals that might overtake you? That might give us all a different perspective.
We have a choice how to handle the dark seasons of our stories. The way we do determines the treasures we leave with. Because there are treasures there.
If you went back through your old journals, would you be surprised at what you had forgotten? Have you forgotten the ways God has moved in your life? Provided? Restored? Rescued? That's why He told the children of Israel to remember. Let's remember today.
Have you ever taken in the fact that in Revelation Jesus says He "walks among the churches?" This musing will give you something to think about this upcoming Sunday morning.
How is your heart leaning into the quiet of the new year? Here is another thought for us as we do.
Do you remember when you first fell in love? Does it look different now? What would it take to get back there? Okay, what would it take to get back there with Jesus? Let's talk about it together on this Monday morning.
It's interesting how the main thing that brings our souls restoration is often the thing we resist the most. Psalm 23 says, "He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul." Yet, we have become a people addicted to noise. In fact, we might even resist being quiet. Sitting in quiet. Yet, could it be that the very thing we are resisting is what our hearts need most? Let's talk about it on this Monday Morning.
God has more for us. But could something be blocking it? Would we be willing to remove it if it meant having more of Him? Hearing more from Him? Encountering more of His presence? The first of a new year is a good time to be asking questions like these.

What if you moved your heart into 2024 in a completely different way? It's going to be a noisy year. Rest assured. Let's look at a new way to handle this new year.
Merry Christmas! Joy has come...
The gift of Jesus is He doesn't just give us the joy of His birth and the hope of His coming, but He gives us the gift of being present and alive and working in the "in-between" moments, too. Here is a reminder of all He is in this "in-between" life.
