“Fans want more of the last thing they read and they liked, That’s what fans want, they liked that thing you did they would like another one of those please” -Neil Gaiman In this episode RedMinus joins Ian and I for a discussion on who controls artistic vision, the artist or the audience. The discussion is related to some of the negative reaction to the new webseries “Bee and Puppycat” that just launched.  The reaction has been related to the characters redesign and slight change in look from the pilot that people saw first and fell in love with. A part of the audience seems very offended by the changes, and we delve into what right (if any) an audience has to demand changes that an artist have made on their work. We also highlight one of RedMinus’s and mine favorite animation creators online Ukinojoe, whom we’ve mentioned in a previous episode and have talked more about his work in this one. It’s a fun episode with some great discussion, Hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening! On this episode Ian and I attempt to talk about YouTube networks and our experience with them.  We try and talk about some important things to look out for when looking at offers from networks, and what a network could help you out with plus some of the positives of being with a network. The conversation jumps around a bit so I apologize about that, we’ll revisit the topic soon and try to be more clear then. Also I apologize for the long delay between episodes, as I mention in the episode I’ve been sick for a while but I finally got over it and we’re back on schedule! Our artist/short spotlight this episode was Felix Colgrave, who’s very unique design sense and animation style really blows me away in everything he releases. His imagination knows no bounds and his work reflects that! Check him out! Download the episode Show Notes: Felix Colgrave Thanks for listening!
