I have a 2 year old daughter and am just a couple weeks away from having another. Baby clothes are so cute, but also can get quite expensive! Little Bunny Baby Clothing (where you can bring in your gently used baby clothing and trade it for other sizes) is such a refreshing new addition to the Tri-State area. Please come out and support local small businesses and save some money at the same time. She also has space for mommy vendors that want to sell their handmade items. She doesn’t charge for the space just takes a commission of 25% when the items sell.
A wonderful interview with Melissa Carter, who grew up coming the Bullhead as a kid and relocated here recently. She felt like she wasn’t connecting with other women when she came here, but after creating this Facebook group “Sisterhood of Traveling Fairies” she has made really great connections with other local women who were feeling lonely and separated as well. I love that she is making our community better ❤️
Arizona was scheduled to open back up May 1st, however Gov. Doug Ducey signed an executive order to extend the closure for another 15 days.  I wanted to interview the Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster to find out why he made that decision.  I also wanted to know what that meant for our county.  Pinal County Sheriff Lamb was the only other Sheriff who was outspoken about not enforcing the closure measures.      Right before this recording Gov. Ducey decided to revise his executive order so many businesses will be able to open up sooner.  There are a lot of difficult decisions that have to be made on every level of government as well as business ownership and personal responsibility.
I have been following a couple of nurses that are from Bullhead City, Arizona that are serving in New York during the Covid-19 crisis.  I had the opportunity today to interview a previous Valley View Medical nurse named Alayna DeLeon.  She has been in New York for 3 weeks and has seen unimaginable things to us living here in Bullhead City (Rural Arizona)      I was able to ask her several questions that people on facebook had asked, and really got an overview of the situation there and how it has been improving from the time she arrived until now.  Sometimes this whole thing seems so far removed from us here in our small town, but she is right in the thick of it and I really appreciate her taking her time to share with all of us how it has been for her.
