Join Courtney, our Vice President and Host of Storm Chasers for an interview with a familiar voice, former President of The Bolt Productions, Brian Borgersen. Brian served as The Bolt Productions President from 2019-2021, graduated college in three years as a television & film major, and now currently works at NBC as a Digital Playback Operator. In this episode of Storm Chasers, we get an alumni update on what Brian's been up to since graduating St. John's. This includes his experience working at NBC Universal, a reflection on his time in college and how being a part of The Bolt has helped him professionally, going to college during the pandemic, and any advice for students that are majors within the mass communication department or are looking to graduate a year early themselves. We also say goodbye to our Vice President and Host, Courtney, as this is her final episode of Storm Chasers.

Welcome back everyone! Our first podcast of the fall 2022 semester is with Jackie Lepore who graduated from St. John's University Staten Island Campus in 2021 as an English major and obtained a masters degree in English from St. John's University in 2022. She held multiple roles during her undergraduate years such as being the founder and president of English club, president of sorority Kappa Beta Gamma, senior senator in student government, and secretary of the Italian club. She held an assistantship during her time as a graduate student in the vice provosts office and is now an adjunct professor and assistant director of student life on the Staten Island Campus. Join Courtney (our Vice President and host of Storm Chasers) as we discuss Jackie's experience in these different positions during her time as a student along with what it was like for her studying English at different academic levels, what it is like to now teach English at her alma mater, the impact St. John's has had on her life what she aspires to do in the future.
