Hello friends it's been a while! I haven't done this in forever but decided to record cos I was just jammin by myself and wanted to vent out some frustrations hahahaha. I also answer some tells I've gotten over the past 4 months, so enjoy me entertaining bots. As always, have a lovely day ahead <3
In which I talk about the parallels of being a writer and existing as a hooman in society, unreliable narrating (perhaps ironic), and announce a new podcast! I was planning to edit out the part at the beginning where I was stumbling over my world lol but meh. Been procrastinating on posting this for 2 weeks it was about damn time.
We are back again with your channel 5 nonsense (no promises that I'm gonna switch to random languages again tho yall) and today, you join me with extremely inconsequential life updates and a few pages of Claudia Rankine's 'The End of the Alphabet', and Sylvia Plath's 'Ariel'. In which Mudaafi' and I have a conversation(?) - with messy splotches of Arabic - about ramadhan, unique family dynamics, life as undergrads, politics, and more! In which we meet this podcast's very first guest!! While practising our (very rusty) Arabic (fushah), Maisurah and I talk about life, ramadhan in the age of a pandemic, adulting and more in the first episode of this special series.
