[38:14] - The landscape of college hockey is undergoing a massive change right now and no one really knows how it's all going to play out. Adam Wodon from College Hockey News weighs in on some NCAA schools now being able to play athletes, the NIL (Name, image and likeness) and the transfer portal creating a competitive imbalance. [1:20:25] - 2024 has been a chaotic year for the Alberta Junior Hockey League but is the news all doom and gloom? Not according to Dave Dawson from HN Live.

A talented roster from head to toe, we get this preview from radio voice Mike Stubbs. I asked TSN broadcaster Jon Abbott for his insight on the team after calling the QMJHL championship series and he provides an in-depth preview of the Volts.

He's headed to North Dakota eventually. [30:22] - Ranked 38th in North America by NHL Central Scouting, this 2024 Draft Spotlight segment features Everett Silvertips defenceman Tarin Smith. [50:05] - The only player from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League to make the final ranking from NHL Central Scouting is Matthew Van Blaricom of the Humboldt Broncos. The Michigan Tech recruit is in the Draft Spotlight segment to close out the episode.

[18:15] - The World U18 Championship is coming up in a couple of weeks. Tony Ferrari from The Hockey News helps Guy set up the tournament with thoughts on the US-NTDP, what Canada's roster might look like and who else are players to watch. [41:28] - The NCAA Frozen Four is next week. All four coaches were made available to the media earlier this week and Guy was part of it. This segment features Jay Pandolfo (Boston University) and David Carle (Denver). [1:11:21] - Continuing with the NCAA Frozen Four coaches, this segment we get to Brandon Naurato (Michigan) and Greg Brown (Boston College). [1:36:27] - The WHL Draft is scheduled for May 9th. To get some insight on some of the players that will be chosen that day, I called on Joel Henderson from Puck Preps.

[44:24] - He's the leading scorer of the Edmonton Oil Kings and he's draft eligible but for some scouts, he's got one hurdle that's too big to ignore. That's OK for Hodnett, he's been proving people wrong his entire career. [1:06:07] - Will it be Saint John or Quebec? It's the last weekend of the regular season in the QMJHL and the two clubs are tied in the standings with only 1 playoff spot left unclaimed. Jamie Tozer from Station Nation has the details.

The Canadian is leading the Chicago Steel in scoring and will join the Michigan Wolverines next year. [59:44] - The Medicine Hat Tigers have a lot of offensive weapons on their roster including Tomas Mrsic. The Surrey, BC product is in the Draft Spotlight this week. [1:16:09] - The BCHL has now evolved into a 22 team league and with that will come changes. Brian Wiebe from BCHL Network has some guesses as to what scheduling and realignment may look like for next year and a lot more.
