The Eddie Leeway Podcast

Episode 9 - The first of a two part series with Scott Ebanks who was wrongfully convicted of second-degree homicide at the age of 19 and faces life in prison.

Most of you know who Eddie Leeway Sutton is, he may not be a founding member of New York Hardcore but he has been a part of that scene since it's infant stages of 1981. By 1984 he was a founding member of LEEWAY, who in time would have a great deal of success, but shortcomings and bad luck prevented them from achieving the goals many expected. To this day LEEWAY is one of the most influential bands to be a part of NYHC, currently he is the only member from the band and plays steady as LEEWAY NYC. ​Many of you know that Eddie suffered from addiction as well as depression and never tried to hide from this reality. After coming back from a month-long hiatus over the holidays he decided to not just relaunch his podcast "THE EDDIE LEEWAY PODCAST", but to make the podcast more than just than about music and entertainment. He now brings you conversation about the human issues each of us or a loved one endures each day, be it mental health, drugs, sexual health, incarceration and more. You can expect nothing less than a thought-provoking content that an old street kid from Astoria with a vast vocabulary could offer. This podcast is for everybody who can relate.
