Did you know there are health benefits from tidying and decluttering your home? Brushing up on your decluttering skills can positively impact your sleep. This benefit is twofold. A clutter-free space is more relaxing and invites rest. Additionally, being organised will prevent you from lying awake thinking about all the things to be done tomorrow. Being organised reduces stress. How many times are you in a rush but can't find something you're looking for? This sets a negative tone for the rest of the day. There's research that states that people with cluttered homes were more depressed, fatigued, and had higher cortisol levels. Living in clutter can be stress-inducing. In fact, clutter literally increases your cortisol level! This is the stress hormone, and too much in the blood for prolonged periods of time can wreak havoc on health. Whether your desire to declutter is brought on by a trying life event, such as a death or divorce, or you're simply feeling overwhelmed by your space, decluttering will help you move on from the weight of objects. I delve deeper in this episode explaining the KonMari Method and other tips and tricks to a clutter free life and home, as well as many ways to save space thus giving you freedom to spend more time on the things you love to do. What are you tolerating in your everyday life? Grace helps you to understand that you may be tolerating certain things in your life that can keep you from achieving your goals and ultimate vision. It is blocking you from doing the things that you really love to do. She is going to increase your awareness of how tolerating little things can get in the way of accomplishing the bigger things. This process will help streamline your life, free up time and energy (both mental and physical), to create more time to focus on your ultimate visions. We tend to tolerate a lot of things that are irritations in our life instead of handling them. We allow a lot of messes to build up whether it is clutter or relationships that aren't working or bank statements and tax records are not being kept in order, so what happens is that when tax time comes around, you're not prepared to deal with it. In planning anything in life it is nice to start with a clean slate which allows you to focus on what is in front of you. So, Grace is here to save the day, by providing you the tool you can use to uncover all the things that are stopping you from achieving what you want. This process will help you, your clients and anyone else in your life, to streamline their life, free up time and energy (mental and physical), to create more time to focus on the important things in life.

The Rule Of 5

The Rule Of 5

2020-08-0908:15

How deeply do you want to achieve your breakthrough goal? Grace explains the powerful rule called "The Rule Of 5". That doing five actions a day will take you that much closer to your vision at an accelerated rate. Publisher, Robert Collier who once said; "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." It's like when you go to the travel agent, what do they ask you? Where do you want to go? When do you want to go there? How long do you want to stay? If you can't answer these questions, you can't go anywhere can you? "Do 5 things everyday that will lead to the achievement of your breakthrough goal." Grace provides you with examples of successful people who have done just that. A must listen episode!
Never Give Up!

Never Give Up!

2020-08-0206:40

Thomas Edison once said: "Our greatest weakness lies in never giving up. The most certain way to succeed is alway to try just one more time." In this episode, Grace talks about exercising persistence. It's probably the most common attribute of high achievers. They just will not give up. History has shown that the longer that you hang in there, the more likely and the greater chance that something will happen in your favour. You may not see it at the start, but the longer you persist the more like you are to achieve the success you want. There are sometimes going to be obstacles and you will need to persist in the face of them. There may even be unforeseen obstacles, that no amount of contingency planning or forethought could have predicted. Not only that, but the universe will also often test your commitment to the goal that you're pursuing. Moving forward may be hard, but you must refuse to give up while you learn new lessons, improve your self-development and this will all be while you're making difficult decisions. Grace gives you tips on what to do when those obstacles are placed in front of you and that you have it in you to succeed. Never give up!
Do you remember when you were young, and your parents marked your height on the door frame every couple of months to keep track of how fast you were growing? It was a visual to let you know where you stood in relation to the past and to your future goal of being as tall as your parents. The same goes for successful people and successful businesses, they use the same kind of measurements. They are keeping score of great progress, a financial increase and positive behaviours, all the things that they want more of. It's time for you to look at your life and analyse what your personal and business life looks like, to ensure there is a balance. You may just need re-arrange your work commitments and schedule to ensure you have more family time because that is what's so important. Grace talks about setting that intention now, decide now where you need to keep score in order to manifest your vision and achieve those goals you've always wanted to achieve. Then, post those goals where you and any others who are involved, can easily view them. She also gives you some great resources to access to keep up that knowledge!
Grace talks about how the world is constantly in an accelerated rate of change, and that to succeed we need to keep up with all the new technologies and concepts put before us. Updated technologies and manufacturing techniques are being announced way more often than they used to be, so it's more important than ever to keep up with change and make the appropriate improvements necessary to succeed. More words get added to the dictionary when new trends and fads catch on. Improvement is necessary now simply to survive, but to thrive as successful people do, you are required to have a more dedicated approach to improvement. She wants you to keep yourself focussed on constant and never ending improvement by asking yourself some questions: "How can I/we improve today?" "What can I/we do better than we have before?" "Where can I learn a new skill?" Grace would like you to make a commitment to keep getting better and better every day and in every way. What will happen will be extraordinary, you will enjoy the feelings of increased self-esteem and self-confidence that come from self-improvement, as well as the high level of success that will ultimately follow. Grace will give you her secret called "The Slight Edge" which will give you the edge on everyone else by taking simple small actions each day towards your goals. You'll want to listen to this episode!
Once you begin to take action and asking for what you want, you will begin receiving feedback about whether you are making the right moves and decisions as you progress to your goal. If you look at the sequence of my episodes, they are deliberately in a specific order. It's like knowing a combination to a lock, you might have all the numbers but if you don't have them in the right order, what happens? It won't open. So, as you work towards your goal, you'll start to get suggestions, some data, even maybe some criticism, but that's ok, because it will help you go in a different direction and do some adjustments along the way which in turn will enhance your knowledge and abilities. Think about it, when you avoid asking for feedback, you are the only one who is not in on the secret. If you own a business and you haven't asked for feedback, what happens? Your customers or clients tell their spouse, their parents and their friends and other potential customers what they are dissatisfied with, and guess who's out of the loop? You! So, in this episode Grace gives you some advice on how feedback is so valuable, whether it be in your business or personal life. You can go way further and faster with feedback than you can without it. Feedback is this incredible and valuable tool that will allow you to know if you are on-course or off-course.
Rejection Is A Myth!

Rejection Is A Myth!

2020-07-0512:43

To move past rejection, you have to realise that rejection doesn't actually exist. It's a concept you hold in your head. Grace goes on to explain how rejection is a myth. If you're someone who really wants to be successful in all areas of your life you are going to have to learn how to deal with rejection. Rejection is just part of life, it's like they say, there are two things in life that are certain, death and taxes. She takes you through many of the examples of being rejected. Remember there are around 5.5 billion people on this planet! There is someone, somewhere that at some time will say yes to you, so don't get stuck in your fear of resentment. She uncovers the concept of asking, and that rejecting rejection is so important in getting from where you are, to where you want to be. She explores some wonderful triumphs over rejection from Stephen Spielberg, Stephen King, James Dyson, J.K. Rowling and Angie Everhart. This is a must listen episode!
ASK! ASK! ASK! Grace moves on from the previous step of taking action to asking for what you want. She will uncover her five quick tips for getting what you want. She will also be giving you examples of success people who have asked for what they wanted, which quantum leaped their career and manifested their goals sooner than expected. The history of the world is is cram packed full of examples of rags to riches stories of people that have just asked and asked and asked for what they wanted and have acquired amazing successes because of it. Yet astoundingly, asking is still a major challenge to most people even though it is one of the most important principles in Grace's step by step process to getting what you want. Consider this: It still holds many people back when they could be just a question away from achieving their goal! By not asking, you are depriving yourself of the information, the assistance, the support, the money and time that you need to fulfil your vision and make your dreams come true. So listen to this episode to make sure that doesn't happen!
Do you want to leave your 9-5 job? Well you're going to want to listen to this episode! Grace takes you through how successful people have got to where they are by being willing to put in the work and be willing pay the price. This might be focussing on one thing or one project until completion while putting everything else in your life on hold. Maybe it's saving every dollar you have and not spending a cent until you have reached your savings goal or working towards your goal of leaving your full time job, by working on your own business from 6 til 12 at night until you are earning enough money to leave that job. While many things are required to reach a successful outcome, the WILLINGNESS to do what is required adds that little extra dimension to the mix that assists you to persevere in the face of overwhelming challenges and setbacks that will appear. She shares some great stories about how people overcame obstacles and persevered until they got what they truly wanted. Oprah Winfrey once said: "The big secret in life is that there is no secret. Whatever your goal is, you can get there, if you are willing to work."
Mark Twain once said, "I have lived a long life and had many troubles, most of which never happened." Grace talks about experiencing your fear, but taking action anyway. As you go along your journey, you are going to have to confront your fears. Fear is a natural feeling. It's always going to unveil itself when you start a new project or put yourself out there in some way. Unfortunately fear is what makes people stop from taking the necessary steps to achieve their goals. Fear needs to be acknowledge, experienced and taken along for the ride. There will be days where things will happen or you will meet new people that will change the direction of your life, because sometimes the Universe has other plans, and more often than not, they are better plans than those that you had laid out for yourself. Grace takes you through the steps to take and the tools you can use to eliminate those fears that have been conditioned in you from a very young age.
Taking That First Step

Taking That First Step

2020-06-0707:00

There's a famous Chinese proverb that states "A journey of 1000 miles begins with one step." Grace takes you through the theory that sometimes success happens when you just lean into it. You don't go all in, you just lean in. Be willing to be open to opportunities and do what needs to be done to pursue what you want. No contracts, do it without a promise of success, without any expectation. Just start. Experience it, see what it feels like, that way you will find out if you want to keep it going, instead of deliberating, contemplating and reflecting on what might happen. Be willing to start without seeing the whole path, because for now, all you need to see if what is right in front of you. Most of life is on-the-job training. Some of the most important things can only be learned in the process of doing them. By starting and doing something you will get feedback to see what is working and what isn't. If you don't start for fear of failure or doing it wrong, poorly or badly, you won't get any feedback and therefore you never get to learn and improve. Listen to Grace's examples about how to take that first piece of action. You don't need to see the whole staircase just take the first step!
What separates winners from the people who don't get what they want? There have been many entrepreneurial surveys done and the main thing that comes up is that there is this predilection to take action by the successful entrepreneurs. In past episodes, we've looked at taking 100 percent responsibility, finding your purpose, creating your vision, you've set your goals, creating your affirmations and visualisations for each of your goals, and NOW, it's time to TAKE ACTION. I take you through why people don't ask for what they want, and why they don't take action for fear of failure. Not only do we need to stop being afraid to fail, but we also need to be willing to fail - even eager to fail. We will all make mistakes at one time or another, so use it as a learning experience and respond to feedback, change direction, and make the correction each time. The universe supports people who take action, so just start!
How would you act if you were already the top sales person in your field, a highly paid consultant, a rich entrepreneur, an olympic athlete, a best-selling author, a straight-A student, an internationally acclaimed singer and songwriter, a sought after speaker, an actor or musician? It's one of the great strategies for success to act as if you are already where you want to be. So if you think like, talk like, dress like, acting like and importantly feel like the person who has already achieved your goal. This sends a powerful signal or command to your subconscious mind to go out there and find those creative ways to deliver your goal to you. It will send messages to the universe, detailing the end goal you are striving for. By "acting as if" shifts your experience and shifts your consciousness, and you up-level your energy, your will feel more confident and playful. This event actually floods the subconscious with powerful images of already having achieved our aspirations. I am going to show you how to do this and tell you some stories of how it has manifested for some successful people.
Albert Einstein said "Imagination is everything, it is the preview of life's coming attractions." I take you through visualisation and how so powerful it is. It's a great tool for you to use and the great news is, that everyone has the ability to visualise. Professional sports people, sports psychologists and peak performance experts have been using this powerful tool since the 1980's. We weren't taught this in school. So just imagine what you could have achieved by now if you were taught everything about visualisation, believing in yourself and the art of goal setting! Imagine how different your life would be! I explain how visualising, having a vision as well as doing affirmations, you will begin to see all the things that you had never noticed before that can assist you on getting to where you want to be. What happens next will amaze you, you will start getting impulses to "act". The problem with most people is that they don't act on the energy of those impulses. Your creative subconscious doesn't think in words, it thinks with images. So make sure those images are in vivid colour, they are specific and extremely compelling, this way your subconscious will go out there and seek and capture all the information necessary to manifest the results that you want. It's the act of creating vivid pictures and images in your mind. Your subconscious can't tell the difference between an actual event and a vividly imagined event! Visualisation is one way of totally accelerating your achievement to success. It does it in three powerful ways. Listen to find out how!
Do you ever wonder why you can remember a jingle of a TV ad from many years ago? Ever driven with the hand brake on? Grace takes you through why most people live with their psychological hand brake, holding on to negative images of themselves. They are still holding on to the mental and emotional effects of some powerful experiences that they have not yet resolved or let go of. They stay in a comfort zone entirely of their own making, holding on to those limiting beliefs or they are harbouring guilt or self-doubt. Your subconscious is hanging on to that childhood programming. How do you fix this? Grace will guide you through creating the perfect affirmation to ensure you manifest what you want. Listen to this episode to find out how!
"Who has already done what you want to do?" Grace takes you through how to ask for what you want and to ask the right people that are already in the industry you want to get into, how they got to where they are now. People love talking about their successes and are willing and able to help you. It's time to look out for the clues that will gravitate towards you, for you to take advantage of, to ensure your success. So get out of your comfort zone and just ask, what's the worst that could happen?
It's time to break down your biggest goals into small daily action steps. When you set your biggest goals, they may become overwhelming. We will rarely see them as little steps or smaller tasks. So to reduce those overwhelming feelings Grace will guide you through reducing your goals into small pieces, smaller tasks and steps to achieving your goals. And that by accomplishing them one at a time it is an easier way to physically and mentally deal with the day to day action steps and individual tasks that need to be done to get you from where you are to where you want to be. She also goes through Mind Mapping which is a great visual tool to ensure all the steps are completed.
How badly do you want to achieve your goals? Grace takes you through the importance of once you have a clear vision, it is your goals that provide direction, motivation and the framework to take the action necessary to achieve them. Once you define your values, you have the answer to a very important question: "Why do I do what I do?" She will guide you on how to overcome the considerations, fears and roadblocks that are placed in front of you everyday, as well as setting clear and concise goals with specificity and a specified timeframe while ensuring the appropriate actions are taken to achieve them. If you want to create a roadmap for your goals that will allow you to set up successful milestones for measuring and monitoring your progress, as well as staying motivated in the process, this is the episode for you!
