If one good thing can be said of the global pandemic it is being home more gave us film fans the chance to watch more movies than our busy lives usually allowed us. Thankfully, streaming channels galore exist for fans of any genre of film. For those of us Horror Lovers Shudder provides us with hours and hours great content (not to mention JOE BOB BRIGGS!!!), and it is there we discovered Aaron B. The 1980's were a time like no other, The world of Reagan and Thatcher, the death of Disco, and the rise of hair bands. Pac-Man and new coke, and in the middle of that an explosion in the popularity of Professional Wrestling. Then, out of nowhere, a group of women appeared on our TV screens, at first, very late at night on small cable channels, but soon the GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) would become world famous...but what was it really like being in the middle of this hurricane of popularity?
Jeanne Basone was a young phlebotomist who answered an audition for a gig she wasn't quite sure was, soon, this sweet young woman became HOLLYWOOD, the greatest "BAD GIRL" in GLOW, and the only one who appeared from the pilot all the way thru the shows end.
We are so thrilled to have Hollywood herself join us to discuss her career, life and what it's like being an icon, legend, and Brian's all time dream woman!!

In 1897 Bram Stoker released a a novel that has been in print ever since, everyone knows the name Dracula, and yet when people think about the Vampire Count they more often think of the way the character has been portrayed in films or on stage or in adaptations over the years. In truth, the actual character is quite different, more frightening, more sinister, and more interesting!! Thankfully, a descendant of Stoker has taken up the task of re introducing his Great Uncle's most famous creation to the world, and oh how it will be done. Not just in books, but in a total 21st century way!!
Dacre Stoker joined forces with Chris McAuley, to repackage one of the worlds most famous characters and to bring Dracula to the 21st century and beyond
Chris McAuley is not a Renfield to Dacre's Dracula, he is a heavyweight in the world of pop culture entertainment, working with the likes of George Lucas, William Shatner, Marvel, Disney and now Stoker, to name just a few, he brings his brilliant vision and creativity to the world of Dracula, and together with Stoker, they will change the way the planet thinks about this legend.by forming StokerMcAuley productions.

When we think of great philosophers we think Plato, Confucius, Voltaire, Hume. One name rarely mentioned by the average person is Manly P. Hall, but to those in the know, Manly P Hall may be one of the 20th centuries most prolific minds.
But who was Manly P. Hall? Philosopher? Writer? Esoterocist? Lecturer? Mystic? Teacher? YES, YES, YES, YES YES YES and more. To label Manly P. Hall is almost impossible, to understand him is equally as difficult.
We are joined by the president and CEO of the group founded by Manly, The Philosophical Research Society, Dr. Greg Salyer to attempt to scratch the surface of who Manly P. Hall was and why he remains so important to all of histories mysteries and all of life's wisdom.

In 1931 William Herbert Wallace was found guilty of the Murder of his wife Julia and sentenced to death. However, before the execution, for the first time in legal history, an appeal was allowed after re-examination of evidence and Williams conviction was overturned. The End right? NOT so fast listeners, this case has so many twists and turns and questions armature and professional criminologists have debated this case ever since.
Mark Russell, was born and raised in the shadow of this fascinating case and turned his life long curiosity into a fact finding quest. In the process Mark uncovered previously unseen since the time of the crime evidence, testimony, police reports and facts and puts it all together in his amazing book Checkmate: The Wallace Murder Mystery available thru Mango Books UK
https://mangobooks.co.uk/
This book may get the debate going again, and may even convince some naysayers of what really happened on the night of January 19th 1931!!

Oh the 1980's, big hair, big shoulder pads and big panic!! Yes, in the 1980's we were told that Satan and his followers were EVERYWHERE thanks to things like Dungeons and Dragons, Heavy Metal Music and The Smurfs...seriously THE SMURFS.
Of course there was no actual wide spread devil worshiping brought on by blue cartoon characters...but what if there was? What if the Satanic Panic were real? Author Rex Hurst brings that alternate reality to life in his newest novel What Hell May Come, and this book is causing quite a rumbling in the world of horror fiction, so we welcome him on to discuss his book, and the actual historical events surrounding the SATANIC PANIC

INTERVIEW BEGINS AT 17:10
In America's history of warfare one conflict that slips thru the cracks of history was The War of 1812. A conflict that pitted The United States against their old foe England, but also The Great White North, yes Canada and the U.S in bloody conflict. History also tells us how Native North American Tribes were split and fighting on opposite sides. What caused this conflict, what happened, why did it end without a real resolution and why does history all but forget this important chapter in the forming of not only The United States, but also Canada?
Retired Major Tanya Grodzinski PhD enlisted inthe Canadian Forces in the early 1980's where she has held several appointments with her regiment, Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians). She was all over Canada holding various staff positions in Winnipeg, Halifax and Kingston, working mainly in coordinating military assistance to other government departments and in doctrinal development as well as being Managing Editor of The Army Doctrine and Training Bulletin (now the Canadian Army Journal) for six years. Then, as if dedicated service to her country wasn't enough, she continued on with her education. In 2002, Major Grodzinski completed a Masters of Arts in War Studies at RMC and her thesis on the War of 1812 on the Upper St Lawrence River was nominated for the Governor General's Gold Medal for Academic Excellence. In 2010, Major Grodzinski completed a doctorate in the RMC War Studies programme
Now Major Doctor Grodzinski is Chair of the Military and Strategic Studies Programme at The Royal Military College of Canada.
We are so honored to have Maj, Dr Grodzinski join us to help us to better understand The War of 1812 and it's importance....thankfully we American's, Canadians and UK folks are all friends now!!

Back in 1965 in Palo Alto California a group of guys started playing music together, soon they would become The Grateful Dead and would go on to provide the soundtrack for a generation and beyond. Quite possibly the American Rock band, the Dead have endured long beyond anyone's wildest dreams and millions of Dead Head's to this day stay loyal and passionate.
Dennis McNally was brought into the inner circle of Jerry and Company and became the official biographer of American music's most iconic band.
His book Long Strange Trip gives us an insiders view of the music, the band, the fans and the phenomenon. And tonight, he joins us, with special guest co-host historian and Dead Head Robert Anderson to talk about the Dead, their legacy and whatever else we thought about rambling about
