[0:00] - The intro montage for Season 22 of The Pipeline Show [1:12] - It's the 4th and final week of the WHL team-by-team previews featuring General Managers spotlighting their rosters for the fans. First we have some news and notes and then the guest list. [11:28] - The Edmonton Oil Kings have a new GM, a new trainer, a new equipment manager and half the roster is new too. Michael Chan is our guide to the team ahead of the season and a new era in Edmonton. [40:23] - The final week of the WHL team previews will include the defending BC Division champion Penticton Vees with GM Fred Harbinson looking back at year 1 and ahead to year 2. [1:12:40] - Associate Coach Joe Frazer fills in for GM Willie Desjardins to deliver an in-depth look at the 2026-27 Tigers who will see big changes on the blueline and between the pipes but return a great core of forwards too. [1:35:17] - The Eastern Conference champion Prince Albert Raiders will be hard pressed to hold on to that title but they won't let it go without a fight either. Curtis Hunt is the GM in PA and now you can hear what he had to say. [1:59:00] - And finally...the defending WHL champions WHL, the Everett Silvertips are in the final preview slot before the season. Winning the Ed Chynoweth is incredibly hard but defending it...even harder. GM Mike Fraser previews his team.

[0:00] - The intro montage for Season 22 of The Pipeline Show [1:14] - Guy sets the table for the episode this week with a couple of News and Notes before the guest list is revealed. Which 6 WHL teams (and their respective GMs) are in the spotlight this week? [9:07] - The lead off guest on this week's episode was the last to record with me but worth the wait. Jake Heisinger's Victoria Royals are going to be very competitive thank to some agressive trades, drafting and recruiting. [32:53] - If you're making a pre-season shortlist of WHL contenders this year, the Saskatoon Blades have to be on it. General Manager Colin Priestner shares why his club is going to be a handful for everyone this coming season. [1:08:18] - The Brandon Wheat Kings should be one of the better teams again this year but they are in a division that most expect to be very competitive. GM Marty Murray shares his thoughts on the way the roster is shaping up. [1:35:21] - In Calgary, the Hitmen have shown the ability to overhaul their roster by mining players from various places including south of the border. Cass Bruni is the new GM of the Hitmen and he joins me to talk about taking over the job and getting prepped for the new season. [2:00:35] - It's a familiar name but a new face as Curtis Hamilton takes over the reins of the Kelowna Rockets from his father Bruce Hamilton. A new era starts in Kelowna and we'll get lots of insight into the current roster and the plan for the season after hosting the Memorial Cup in 2026. [2:33:56] - The Prince George Cougars are back to take another run at a division title but do they have the horses to pull it off? Mark Lamb is the General Manager and he joins the show once again to preview his team ahead of the coming season.

[0:00] - The new opening intro montage for Season 22 of The Pipeline Show [1:12] - Guy begins the episode with some News and Notes before getting to the guest list and which six WHL GMs will be on this week to preview their clubs ahead of the coming season. It's the 2nd of 4 weeks of WHL Previews. [14:03] - The Tri-City Americans are the first team in the spotlight this week as General Manager Bob Tory pulls back the curtain on his team for the fans. [34:45] - They made the playoffs last year but much more is expected of the Regina Pats this season thanks in large part to a dynamic duo of Maddox Schultz and Liam Pue. GM Dale Derkatch shares some insight and knowledge about his team. [1:02:29] - The always exciting Portland Winterhawks are led by GM Mike Johnston who believes that his club is going to continue up the standings based on strong netminding and an excellent blueline But who will score the goals? [1:33:16] - Another team looking to finish higher in the standings are the Seattle Thunderbirds. Bil La Forge is the General Manager and give the T-Birds fanbase lots of insight about the team in this preview. [1:55:53] - 2025-26 was a disappointing one for the Spokane Chiefs, a club many thought would have been amongst the league's contenders. GM Matt Bardsley says his team learned some lessons and now have redemption on their minds. [2:28:46] - Closing out the guest list this week is Shaun Clouston, the General Manager of the Kamloops Blazers. Perhaps more than any other WHL team, the Blazers have lost a number of their weapons to college or age so what can be expected this season?

[0:00] - The new intro montage for Season 22 of The Pipeline Show [1:13] - We begin the annual tradition of previewing every team in the Western Hockey League with the help of their General Manager. First, Guy has some brief news and notes to mention. [11:25] - The Lethbridge Hurricanes ended last season in last place but GM Barclay Parneta is optimistic that his team will be much more competitive thanks to a wave of incoming players and returning veterans. [45:38] - New Head Coach and General Manager of the Swift Current Broncos Travis Crickard joins to preview his team ahead of the coming season. [1:16:52] - Our next stop is in Vancouver with the Giants in the spotlight and returning head coach (and now also GM) Michael Dyck who has the challenge of getting his club out of the western conference cellar. [1:44:27] - The first American-based franchise of the episode sees GM Bliss LIttler breaking down the Wenatchee Wild who return almost their entire team. [2:13:12] - The Moose Jaw Warriors aren't that far removed from winning a WHL championship and they appear to be on the upswing once again. Jason Ripplinger is the club's General Manager and provides this preview of his team. [2:31:48] - Last up this week are the Red Deer Rebels who actually squeeked into the playoffs. Owner and GM Brent Sutter offers some insight into his team and his expectations for 2026-27.

[0:00] - The NEW intro montage for Season 22 of The Pipeline Show [1:12] - Guy welcomes everyone to the 22nd year of The Pipeline Show and then gets back to work with some news and player transactions in the WHL plus, the guest list for the week. [12:00] - Rocco Zappia from The Puck Bunker makes his Pipeline Show debut as he reflects on the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup which was held earlier in August. He was in Edmonton for the duration of the event and offers up his thoughts on a number of standouts and those that didn't. [46:44] - Bryn Chyzyk is a former Fighting Hawk player but he joins the show in his current role as the General Manager for North Dakota's hockey team. What does a GM do at the college level and how has recruiting evolved over the last 2 years? [1:10:59] - Wrapping it up this week is the voice of the QMJHL's Cape Breton Eagles - Patrick McNeil. Training camp are open across the league and some exhibition games are already in the books so we lean on Patrick to give us a really early look ahead to the coming season and what he is hearing around the league.
