2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us that the god of this age blinds minds so they cannot see the light of the gospel. People are looking at the wrong thing. They are mesmerized by a fashionable god of darkness who offers a convincing illusion—something that feels real without being true. Because of that blindness, they miss the brilliant light of Christ, the exact image of God, shining right in front of them.
The way we think directly impacts our joy and peace. We can manage our lives by managing our thoughts. God has not left us alone in this battle of the mind. The thoughts that have characterized our past need not characterize the rest of our life.

Breakthrough requires obedience to God’s voice every time, not assumption based on last time.
Breakthrough victory comes when we seek God before we fight the battle.

Breakthrough happens when God tears down the strongholds that have stood for too long.
Before God brings breakthrough around you, He brings breakthrough in you.
The Lord of Breakthrough - Week 1 by Elevate Christian Church
The wise men traveled far, following the star, seeking truth. They represent the seekers of all nations—reminding us that Jesus came for the whole world. They brought their best gifts to Jesus—challenging us to consider what we bring to Him this Christmas.
Angels were God’s messengers, sent to proclaim peace and joy. Their song of “Glory to God in the highest” declares the purpose of Jesus’ birth. Like angels, we are called to be messengers—sharing the good news of Christ with a dark world.
The shepherds were the overlooked, ordinary, and often despised people of their day. God chose to announce the birth of Jesus to them first—showing that Christ came for the lowly and forgotten.

Rejoicing in the middle of a storm doesn’t come naturally — but Paul reminds us that through prayer, gratitude, and trust, we can experience God’s peace even when life feels chaotic. Paul wrote Philippians from prison — and yet his message was joy. He encouraged the church in Philippi to rejoice, not because their circumstances were easy, but because “the Lord is near.” If Paul could find joy while chained to a guard, we can learn to do the same when life feels heavy.
Death for the believer is not a defeat to fear but a graduation into glory. When we live with eternity in mind, we don’t just prepare to die—we prepare to step into the fullness of life with Jesus. The best way to prepare for death is to live faithfully. Start building an eternal legacy today.
Christians grieve differently. Grief is real, but for the believer it is never hopeless. Christians grieve deeply, but we grieve with the assurance of reunion and resurrection. Grief is real and necessary, but we don’t grieve like those without hope. Christ brings comfort even in our deepest loss.
