Mrs. Southerland's charge to the Senior Class at Convocation is one that all of our students—PreK through 12th grade—can aspire to follow.
Join us as we ask Dr. Andrea Woodard about her favorite childhood books, and then interrupt Dean Hatteberg to hear more about our Noonday Prayer theme this year.
We have an exciting but challenging year ahead. How can Hebrews 12 help us this year? Let's ask Mrs. Howard!
I am happy to introduce you to Car(line) Talk: a mini-Podcast designed to be listened to in the car on your way to school. Most weeks we will send out a very short episode featuring encouragements from our faculty and staff, highlights of some of our events, and updates to help you navigate the school year.As you will discover, very few of these moments are scripted. Much to the chagrin of our team, they usually involve me walking up to them with voice memos open on my phone to ask them a question, and then force them to answer off-the-cuff.Check in each week for more mini-episodes!

Welcome to Piety and Paideia: a podcast about Classical Education and Christian Formation brought to you by Coram Deo Academy, and sponsored by Communion Neighborhood Cooperative in Richardson, TX. I am your host, Jon Jordan, and I am the Logic School Principal at Coram Deo Academy’s Dallas campus and a pastor here in town as well.About once a month we will release short episodes about one aspect of Classical Education, and how it relates to Christian formation. Each episode will include tangible ideas for applying that episode’s topic to your own context, whether you are formally involved in Classical Education or not.
Mr. Jon Jordan continues our new CDA Dallas Fall Lecture series with a talk on Virtue and Social Media.
Christian Virtue could be understood as the patient acquisition of holy habits that is started, sustained, and finally accomplished by God’s grace in each of our lives. All of us, including our students, are becoming virtuous. Thousands of small, daily choices are molding us into who we will become.
In light of this reality, what role does Social Media play in our development as virtuous humans? What impact, positive or negative, does daily interaction with the digital world have on our souls? What can we do as parents, and as a school, in light of these questions?
Mr. Jon Jordan kicks off our new CDA Dallas Fall Lecture series with a talk on Classical Christian Education. This session is aimed towards helping us all understand—and be able to talk about—Classical Christian education better than we do now.
