AGITATORS ANONYMOUS the Alan Averill Podcast

I happened be right there last weekend at a protest and subsequent riot in France, right there.....front row seats, I spent all day among the protestors and all night watching the rioting and looting. 20 yards away, and todays podcast is what I saw, my observations and my attempt at understanding the context. As always it's way more complicated than you might think and there are far more factors and actors at play than it seems or that you might be able to see from a 15 second reel on the gram. I try to remain apolitical, unemotional and even handed, so if you are looking for angry hot takes, you won't find em here! Is this the fall of the West? is it coming to a city near you?.....find outand watch the movie 'La Haine'......the show is looking for sponsors....if you think this is something you are interested in, get in [email protected] menemtheanga_primordialprimordial_officialon the gramsupport the show over at :https://patreon.com/AlanAverillPrimordial on Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/0BZr6WHaejNA63uhZZZZek?si=yFFV8ypSSDOESUX62_0TzQFor info on my work as a booking agent go to:https://www.facebook.com/DragonProductionsOfficialor email [email protected] cds/lps available fromhttps://www.metalblade.com/primordial/my other musical projectsdeath metalVERMINOUS SERPENThttps://open.spotify.com/artist/54Wpl9JD0Zn4rhpBvrN2Oa?si=zOjIulHXS5y9lW1YHMhgTAdoomDREAD SOVEREIGN https://open.spotify.com/artist/60HY4pl0nbOrZA6u2QnqDN?si=sxQ5_1htR6G3WIvy1I_wXAgothAPRILMENhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/7GzLO1YJClmN5TvV4A37MJ?si=cRXSk24lQKWSqJG-B8KbWQSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/agitators-anonymous-the-alan-averill-podcast. Does everything have to be political....all of the time? After the recent, largely manufactured drama over a statement by James Hetfield to the contrary I look at the backlash, how much of it is real, what the freezing effect is and why it's perfectly find to not signal to any tribe and not be interested in politics. the show is looking for sponsors....if you think this is something you are interested in, get in [email protected] menemtheanga_primordialprimordial_officialon the gramsupport the show over at :https://patreon.com/AlanAverillPrimordial on Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/0BZr6WHaejNA63uhZZZZek?si=yFFV8ypSSDOESUX62_0TzQFor info on my work as a booking agent go to:https://www.facebook.com/DragonProductionsOfficialor email [email protected] cds/lps available fromhttps://www.metalblade.com/primordial/my other musical projectsdeath metalVERMINOUS SERPENThttps://open.spotify.com/artist/54Wpl9JD0Zn4rhpBvrN2Oa?si=zOjIulHXS5y9lW1YHMhgTAdoomDREAD SOVEREIGN https://open.spotify.com/artist/60HY4pl0nbOrZA6u2QnqDN?si=sxQ5_1htR6G3WIvy1I_wXAgothAPRILMENhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/7GzLO1YJClmN5TvV4A37MJ?si=cRXSk24lQKWSqJG-B8KbWQSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/agitators-anonymous-the-alan-averill-podcast. another legend has left the building, Cronos from Venom. Taken way too early. Venom were probably the most important band in my development as young metalhead, the rock upon which the church was built, so to say, so I put some random thoughts together for today's episodeapologies for the slightly odd sound, this was recorded remotelyToday's sponsor is : PROMETHEAN WOLFElite fitness wear....check it out atprometheanwolf.com and use the CODE : AGITATE for free shipping on your first orderthe show is looking for sponsors....if you think this is something you are interested in, get in [email protected] menemtheanga_primordialprimordial_officialon the gramsupport the show over at :https://patreon.com/AlanAverillPrimordial on Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/0BZr6WHaejNA63uhZZZZek?si=yFFV8ypSSDOESUX62_0TzQFor info on my work as a booking agent go to:https://www.facebook.com/DragonProductionsOfficialor email [email protected] cds/lps available fromhttps://www.metalblade.com/primordial/my other musical projectsdeath metalVERMINOUS SERPENThttps://open.spotify.com/artist/54Wpl9JD0Zn4rhpBvrN2Oa?si=zOjIulHXS5y9lW1YHMhgTAdoomDREAD SOVEREIGN https://open.spotify.com/artist/60HY4pl0nbOrZA6u2QnqDN?si=sxQ5_1htR6G3WIvy1I_wXAgothAPRILMENhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/7GzLO1YJClmN5TvV4A37MJ?si=cRXSk24lQKWSqJG-B8KbWQSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/agitators-anonymous-the-alan-averill-podcast. After a short two week enforced interlude I'm back, not in the studio for this one but recording remotely. Today's podcast is about Angry Anderson, a true rock n roll legend who passed away during the week. I wonder is it even possible for a band like this to exist in modern society anymore? Genuine working class heroes with a truly menacing air who turned their pub yob rock into an institution that stood for integrity and comradeship, which deeply resonated with people in a way few bands are able to. If a band appeared now claiming the same wouldn't we imagine it was conceit? this and more on today's podcastForgive the slightly different audio!Today's sponsor is : PROMETHEAN WOLFElite fitness wear....check it out atprometheanwolf.com and use the CODE : AGITATE for free shipping on your first orderthe show is looking for sponsors....if you think this is something you are interested in, get in [email protected] menemtheanga_primordialprimordial_officialon the gramsupport the show over at :https://patreon.com/AlanAverillPrimordial on Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/0BZr6WHaejNA63uhZZZZek?si=yFFV8ypSSDOESUX62_0TzQFor info on my work as a booking agent go to:https://www.facebook.com/DragonProductionsOfficialor email [email protected] cds/lps available fromhttps://www.metalblade.com/primordial/my other musical projectsdeath metalVERMINOUS SERPENThttps://open.spotify.com/artist/54Wpl9JD0Zn4rhpBvrN2Oa?si=zOjIulHXS5y9lW1YHMhgTAdoomDREAD SOVEREIGN https://open.spotify.com/artist/60HY4pl0nbOrZA6u2QnqDN?si=sxQ5_1htR6G3WIvy1I_wXAgothAPRILMENhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/7GzLO1YJClmN5TvV4A37MJ?si=cRXSk24lQKWSqJG-B8KbWQSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/agitators-anonymous-the-alan-averill-podcast. In today's podcast I break down where a 3k band fee for a festival goes to, agents, artist taxes, flights, luggage......and why this is becoming almost entirely untenable, this and other music industry observations and mathematical grasping at straws......Today's sponsor is : PROMETHEAN WOLFElite fitness wear....check it out atprometheanwolf.com and use the CODE : AGITATE for free shipping on your first orderthe show is looking for sponsors....if you think this is something you are interested in, get in [email protected] menemtheanga_primordialprimordial_officialon the gramsupport the show over at :https://patreon.com/AlanAverillif you wish to make a one off donation to the showpaypal : [email protected] on Spotifyhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/0BZr6WHaejNA63uhZZZZek?si=yFFV8ypSSDOESUX62_0TzQFor info on my work as a booking agent go to:https://www.facebook.com/DragonProductionsOfficialor email [email protected] cds/lps available fromhttps://www.metalblade.com/primordial/my other musical projectsdeath metalVERMINOUS SERPENThttps://open.spotify.com/artist/54Wpl9JD0Zn4rhpBvrN2Oa?si=zOjIulHXS5y9lW1YHMhgTAdoomDREAD SOVEREIGN https://open.spotify.com/artist/60HY4pl0nbOrZA6u2QnqDN?si=sxQ5_1htR6G3WIvy1I_wXAgothAPRILMENhttps://open.spotify.com/artist/7GzLO1YJClmN5TvV4A37MJ?si=cRXSk24lQKWSqJG-B8KbWQSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/agitators-anonymous-the-alan-averill-podcast.
