A native of Granada in Spain, but now living in Berlin, Kid Simius has had an interesting path through music having come to electronic music via hip hop and rap music and his association with the famous Marteria rap crew and Green Berlin collective. Anja speaks to José about his journey, his unique approach to making and performing music, and the challenges involved on the way to achieving mainstream and underground success.

One of techno’s pioneers, Chris Liebing has been an active player in the scene since the mid-90s when he began the Spinclub in Frankfurt. Chris soon graduated to become resident at the legendary Omen club alongside cult hero Sven Vath. A busy working DJ since that point, Chris has been busy touring the world for the last 20 years. Over this time his multiple record label and radio show brands such as CLR and AMFM and his residency for Cocoon Ibiza have been central to the spreading of the techno gossip across the planet. Formed in the months following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic the group are comprised of booking agents, managers and touring companies, as well as the individual artists and performers whom they represent. Currently Bookings United represent around 2000 individuals across around 75 companies including 1000 artists. The aim of Bookings United is to represent their members interests within conversations with local and national government agencies as a way of mitigating the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the independent music business.
