So nice to have you back after a well deserved break, Caprice. Very sad episode, and very scary with regard to the state of modern slavery in the UK.
absolutely love this podcast, but please make the music at the end shorter for the next episode! I enjoy listening but hate the music gap 🙈
Marsha’s husband said he knew she was going away for a few days, so why didn’t he pick up the children after school? This whole case stinks
Jules do you know the meaning of ‘literally ‘? It’s a word you rather overuse
Jones should never had been jailed
Rhodesia is not now called South Africa. It is now Zimbabwe.
Thank YOU, Caprice, for all the work you've put into this over the past four years. Your sincerity shines through. Just one plea... please stick to British terms as this podcast is one of the family of quality British pods of which we're so proud and I'd like them to have a definite identity that's different from the many US true crime pods. Pet peeve, witnesses in England go into the witness box, they don't take a stand ;)
A fascinating episode. I was so heartened to hear that DNA work is ongoing in the hope of finally identifying the victim. I would have liked to hear a bit more about his wife, her reactions, etc. It must be undoubted that the head injury and prolonged unconsciousness he experienced in WW1 would have impacted his personality and behaviour, and that should have at least resulted in life imprisonment instead of hanging. Thanks for the pod, Caprice. 5 stars !!!

A very well presented and clear podcast which is presented so well. Caprice does a great job in presenting the information to the listener in a clear and well researched way. I am working my way backwards through the episodes, and I am not one to make comments on podcasts, but I had to say just how good this podcast this and that would recommend anyone who has an interest in true crime to give this a listen. Thanks for the content and keep up the great work being done.
Just me reading about this episode blows my mojo x mind .You mean to tell us that her family didnt know she never returned that night ?....They all just went to bed without their 13 year old in the house ?......That seems f@$!#& up in its self . I might listen. As always , Thank You !
brutal listen, just reeling off dead people with very little context or insight. each case melds into the next..very confusing unfortunately.
skip 10-12 minutes,ads
Really enjoying the podcast, keep up the great work 😊
Love this podcast
interesting story but the name is pronounced May-me...like Jamie
Very good podcast. James.
quite a few drowning victims lost off East coast Ireland end up washed up on Welsh coast. About 3 years ago an Irish lady who went missing off a Wexford beach was identified as an unknown corpse washed up and buried in Wales in the mid 90s. My aunt spent weeks checking the beach for the woman. Strangely the connection with the unknown burial was made within a few weeks of my aunt's death. I'm certain she had a hand in that from the other side.
As Always A Great Podcast.. Love The Subjects...
This one hit home... I am from the Wirral and know everywhere you described... Tragic stories
