In episode 19, Levi and Evan talk about his move to Belgium and some of the lessons he's learned through a crazy few years.
Levi and Evan are joined by TWO-TIME Alabama Mr. Basketball award winner Trevor Lacey. Trevor played two seasons at the University of Alabama, one season at North Carolina State, and has played many professional seasons in the US and abroad. In this episode, Trevor and Levi chop it up about their big-time Alabama HS hoops match-ups, and Trevor talks about his career and the lessons he's learned along the way.
Today’s guest is former Florida Gator and current pro Michael Frazier. Michael is another guy that perfectly exemplifies the Backdoor mentality, finding a way to make his dreams happen despite a bumpy road with twists, turns, and trials. Michael played for multiple G-League teams, USA Basketball, and spent time overseas before winning the 2018-19 G-League Most Improved player and subsequently signing his first NBA deal.
This show is loaded with advice for anyone dealing with obstacles in their lives. Michael’s attitude and commitment to the game are incredible and we’re so excited for you to hear this conversation.

Welcome to Episode 16 of the Backdoor Podcast! On this episode, Levi and Evan talk with Antonio Blakeney of the Canton Charge. AB was Florida’s Mr. Basketball in 2015 and a 2015 McDonalds All-American. He played two seasons at LSU, won the 2018 NBA G-League Rookie of the Year, spent two seasons with the Chicago Bulls and one year in the Chinese Basketball Association before joining Canton this season.

Levi and Evan are joined by Tim McCormick. Tim is a former University of Michigan standout and was the 12th overall selection in the 1984 NBA Draft. He spent multiple seasons as a pro with the Supersonics, 76ers, Nets, Rockets, Hawks, and Knicks. Tim retired in 1992 and is currently serving as a Senior Regional Director with the NBA Players Association and a Color Analyst with Fox Sports Detroit.

Before his acting career took off, Caleb spent three seasons playing football at the University of Alabama where his father and two brothers played as well.
On Episode 9, Evan and Levi chat with Levi’s friend and former teammate Malcolm Miller of the Toronto Raptors. Malcolm played four years at Holy Cross and has spent five years as a professional, including the last three seasons with the Toronto Raptors. This week Levi and Evan chat with basketball pro Adonis Thomas. Adonis was a prep hoops star in Memphis. He played in the 2010 FIBA U17 World Cup and was a 2011 McDonald’s All-American. He went on to play two years at the University of Memphis and just finished his seventh season as a professional. Adonis is also still involved with his former AAU team and will soon be launching his own clothing brand, Black Sheep.

Levi and Evan talk with Canton Charge Assistant Coach Tyler Neal. Before Canton, Tyler spent four years at the University of Akron as an Assistant Coach, was a member of the Cavs summer league coaching staff in 2019, and and was a member of the USA Basketball World Cup Team support staff in 2018 and 2019. Tyler was also Evan's high school teammate and, for a time, college roommate.

This week we’re talking with two of Levi’s college teammates and close friends, Trevor Releford and Andrew Steele.
Trevor was a four year starter at Alabama. He was named to the SEC All-Rookie Team in 2011, was Second-Team All-SEC in 2012, First-Team All Defensive Team in 2013, and All-SEC First Team in 2013 and 2014. He is currently finishing up his 6th professional season.
Andrew was a big time high school basketball and football recruit in the state of Alabama. He battled injury after injury in college, always fighting and scrapping his way back and embodying the backdoor mentality, which we get into during the show. After his playing career, Andrew jumped into the coaching ranks at his alma mater John Carroll High School in Birmingham, Alabama. After coaching stints with Troy University and the University of South Alabama, Andrew made his way back to Tuscaloosa where he is currently on the basketball operations staff with the Crimson Tide.
