Description

All families tell stories about themselves. Those stories are passed down, and like an intergenerational game of telephone, the details sometimes change from fact to fiction. But have you ever wondered how much of the lore is actually true?

Family Lore is a weekly narrative podcast that celebrates and investigates ancestral mystique. Each episode begins with a guest sharing a fascinating family legend, followed by a historical deep-dive to uncover the truth and meaning behind the tale.

Whether it’s a grandfather who flew before the Wright Brothers, a great-aunt who invented the margarita, or a great-uncle who killed a Texas ranching scion, each story offers an intimate glimpse into the familial fables that captivate us.

Family Lore is an Audacy original podcast.

I need to use FDRs words bc they're mine. I just couldn't organize them as he had but I feel it fits today's needs in this world among so many desperately searching for hope. He found a way to connect and use that power to unite a solution for tomorrow by creating it today. I will find a way to reach every heart for there is where all needs lie. God bless people with hope and courage and the security to safely close there eyes for a moment to acknowledge the power within. Together we can triumph! It has to be believed to cultivate a truth that exists with unyielding faith. Compassion has to be the new tough love. It has to unite all as one not all as each separate group as one but ALL as one, and then it can be done.
