We've hit lawyers and thank yous in Minute 93 of Moon. We realise how many people it takes to make a movie, and just assume a lot of things about how Moon was made. Plus we help you add some excitement to your next boring document.
We've watched Moon so it's time for a debrief! We go through the shocking statistics, our favourite predictions and things we would have done differently if we were in the Director's chair. We will be taking a little break before season 2 with a new film to binge so send through your suggestions now! Thank you for sticking with us through Binge Minute, and thank you to everyone who has helped make Season 1 such a great time:  Our guests Rosa Sottile, Cameron Watson and Jim Reynolds @bigforktheatre  The wonderful Mark Grimes for his amazing music contributions, including Helium 3 at the end of the episode. Check out Ho Hum Musical Improv. Our awesome listeners including those who sent through questions, like Marc, Adam and Vance.  Duncan Jones, Sam Rockwell and the whole cast and crew of Moon who made a wonderful film to watch minute by minute. We'll be back soon with more Binge Minute, Bubbye now, bubbye! Chris and Taylor
We've had a lovely break at Binge Minute HQ gearing up for Season 2 - but to start a new season we need a new film, so what better way to announce the title than with a little interlude episode! Thank you to everyone who submitted movie ideas, you made it really hard for us to narrow down. We hope you enjoy our upcoming season, kicking off Monday 12th October 2020. Until then, bubbye now bubbye!
Minute 1 - Moon

Minute 1 - Moon

2020-04-1415:58

We kick off our quest for finding the best minute in cinematic history with the 2009 sci-fi film Moon, starting with minute one. Meet your hosts and find out what our initial plot predictions will be, but we won't know if we're right for a while so strap in!
We are up to minute 2 of Moon and already so much has happened! We give our hot predictions for first character names and spend a lot of time hung up on the serious condition of moon rage.
Only three minutes in to sci-fi film Moon and we meet our second character! We achieve a milestone with some of our previous minute predictions coming true (kind of), so its time to make some even riskier claims for minute four.
Minute 4 teases us with an agonising wait for the harvester money shot and brings up a lot of questions about just how many things on the moon have names and can speak. The real question is are you for or against casting directors?
Minute 5 - Lunar Kebab

Minute 5 - Lunar Kebab

Five minutes in and the credits keep coming. We make our first bet, solve some cold cases and witness a reverse birth.
In minute 6 of sci-fi film Moon, we finally get some closure on the magical process of energy production. Chris acting-schools us on what an inciting incident is and we contemplate how we'd survive on a Mars expedition.
The cracks start to show at the lunar base in Minute 7 but we're keeping it together. Taylor calls in her bet, Chris relives his favourite break up scene and we consider the passive aggressive robotic future.
Taylor's earlier predictions on nudity clauses come undone in minute 8 of Moon. Chris spoils Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (start from 1:40 to skip spoilers) and we admire Gerty's latest gadget.
Sam's got a new look and a new message in minute 9, but to be honest this episode doesn't spend much time on the content.  Instead we chat space hobbies, iso-pets and Chris gets ruffled by some dialog.
We hit double digits in Minute 10! We have so many questions - like what is the bar to call yourself an astronaut, and do our neighbours like us? We also have our biggest argument to date so let us know whose side you're on #freedomforKathy
Sam's living his best iso life in Minute 11. We discuss what moments you can longingly put your hand on a wall and Chris really wants to know how confident Taylor is in her Garage Band skills.
Ohhhhhhhh boy, things take a wild turn in Minute 12 of Moon! We've got whittling, prom/pram, Chris' first Binge Minute nightmare and Taylor sings the theme song(?).
Minute 13 - Camp Gerty

Minute 13 - Camp Gerty

Moon gets sexy in minute 13 with plenty of lies and lust. We test the boundaries of our personal nudity clauses and speculate Gerty's potential The Shape of Water moment, plus Chris has new theory on where this film is headed.
Minute 14 - Horny Jog

Minute 14 - Horny Jog

2020-05-0114:22

It's an intimate minute 14 here at Binge Minute HQ. We disagree about whether Sam is horny or sick and share some, let's face it, unasked for personal details. Plus Taylor has the coolest prediction yet that totally makes sense (Taylor wrote this description).
It's breakfast time in Minute 15 of Moon. Chris calls in his prom/pram bet and a sudden twist at the end leaves us wondering if these twists are actually twists or just in our head.
Chris brings a strange character in from the garden to help review Minute 16 of Moon. Meanwhile it's back to business as usual for Sam as he investigates a problem and we chat cars, systems messages and agree on another important main character. Let us know if you want Marlene to return OR to never come back.
We're joined by another more real guest for Minute 17 of Moon, which delivers something for everyone! Cameron Watson (Big Fork Theatre) joins Chris and Taylor for a battle royale over the true nomenclature for describing Sam's automobiles, and shares concerns for Sam's underwhelming commitment to workplace health and safety.
