Nick Afoa is a singer, performer, and a former rugby union player. He is best known for his performances playing the lead role of Simba in the Lion King Musical in Australia, London and most recently the New Zealand tour. He is also a co-host on the ‘Tapu Two” podcast, a podcast focused around real, straight up koreros around life. TJ Hendy is a Nutri-Grain Ironman based out of Queensland Australia. He has had several podium finishes throughout his career in one of the toughest sports on the planet. Caitlin is a New Zealand Canoeist, and Olympic Gold Medalist. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she won her first Olympic Gold, in the K-2 500m event alongside Lisa Carrington. He was the winner of the prestigious  ‘Billy T Award’ in 2002, and is the only comedian to win “The Fred Award” twice, which recognises the best New Zealand show in the NZ International Comedy Festival. The King has arrived! Emkay is a musician, composer, actor and plays the role of Mufasa in Disney's The Lion King International Stage Production. In this podcast we unpacked his journey growing up in South Africa, getting into drama, and eventually landing the role of Mufasa. From an understudy in England, to touring the world (including New Zealand in 2021) as a lead character, his journey is inspiring and this conversation is full of gold.

Henry Nicholson is a school teacher in Southern Australia, and a two time Australian Survivor legend. He is known as one of Australian Survivors most cunning strategists. He found idols, made fake ones, claimed immunity wins, and even convinced his entire tribe he was a Yoga Instructor. He made the merge in his first season, and returned for an All Stars season with a huge target on his back. In this podcast we talked about his survivor journey, avoiding the limelight, his passion for teaching, and how his character was shaped through some of the toughest moments of his life.

Molly Laing is one of the coolest people I know. She is currently enrolled at Takiura, on the learning journey to speaking fluent Te Reo. She is a qualified teacher with a huge heart for community. In this podcast we unpacked her journey into pursuing her identity as māori and the dream of bringing back fluent Reo into her Whānau. We talked about growing up in whangamatā, her experiences in Vanuatu, and heaps of laughs.

Blake Ayshford is a former NRL centre who played over 170 games. He played at the West Tigers alongside Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah, before moving on to both the Cronulla Sharks and the New Zealand Warriors. In this podcast we talked about his journey through the NRL. From the highs of finals footy, to the lows of injury and public pressure. Great yarn and insight into the life of a footy player. Aaron Moses is a musical artist, director and member of Maverick City Music. He has played in all of Mavericks albums/collaborations to date, and is immersed in the writing, producing and directing of their music. In this podcast we unpacked the Maverick journey so far, from the early days of sitting in rooms sharing their stories and just writing, to the latest collaboration with Elevation “Old Church Basement”. Aaron was also a key part in launching Maverick City Musica.
