First off, congratulations to the more than 2,100 residents who participated in the 21st edition of The Villages Senior Games! Bowling is the final activity on the schedule. There are two Friday Night Car Shows this week and at the end of the week, it's time for a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Keep the music going with two tribute concerts, Evolution Motown, and a local student production. The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center turns ninth and you are invited to a celebration on Tuesday. We have those details for you. And good luck to local high school sports teams who have their district tournaments games this week. 
Let 2024 The Villages Senior Games action begin! Resident athletes will be competing in various sports throughout the community this month as they strive to earn a spot at the Florida Senior Games. Good luck to the participants! For all of you car enthusiasts out there, there are multiple car shows this week for you to go to, including a car club showcase. From a Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band to songs from Lion King, Chicago and The Wizard of Oz, you have several musical options to choose from, as well. And don't miss out on the 4th annual Jazz Festival at Savannah Center later this week or World Tai Chi Day. 
In recognition of World Art Day on April 15, we have details about a Camp Villages activity, along with information about an outdoor concert series happening later this week as well as an art show and sale. There is plenty of musical entertainment on the calendar at The Sharon and Savannah Center, and the Ladies Village Cup will conclude this week crowning a champion. This is a quick and convenient way to learn what is happening around your hometown this week!
Start your week off with a celestial event over at Homestead Recreation followed by a car club show. You will not want to miss out on being part of a Rock-In event at Brownwood Paddock Square Friday to celebrate Rocky and the Rollers. We also have details about other musical opportunities for you this week, too. Take part in the next on the square exercise event, and also this week some of the top female golfers in this community are competing in the annual Ladies Village Cup. The month of April begins with a Monday Night Car Show, lots of activities offered by The Villages Recreation and Parks, along with a selection of musical performances you can attend. The Acoustic Series is back at Spanish Springs this week! We have all of those musical details for you, along with information about Doo Wop sounds coming your way, too.  Camp Villages Easter Week is offering up lots of family fun this week, in addition to a Bunny Boat Cruise at Lake Sumter, the Running of the Square 5K, and the Brownwood Arts & Crafts Festival, as well.
Three car shows are heading your way this week. You can also enjoy the latest outdoor concert series, and make sure to attend The Enrichment Academy's Learn & Grow Expo to find out about the more than 200 courses being offered during the spring/summer semester, which begins April 1. We'll tell you about the live entertainment coming to the stages at The Sharon and Savannah Center this week, and much more. In honor of St. Patrick's Day on Sunday, it's time for some Villages-style festivities. The 2024 St. Patrick's Day festival will take at two squares this week over multiple days and you will not want to miss the resident parade on the holiday. We have those fun details for you, along with information about two on the square exercise events. On the entertainment front, Rick Springfield will be at The Sharon, along with Step Afrika! and a collection of local voices who will perform, Change the World songs of inspiration, love, and hope. Fat Tuesday is here and it's time to celebrate Mardi Gras Villages style at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square. Join the fun with a Mardi Paw March and lots of musical entertainment. You'll be taken on a musical journey this week on the entertainment front from Woodstock in 1969 to Irish tunes to Motown and even rock and jazz. Attend the latest on the square event with "Stretch Aging Backwards," and don't miss out on a few resident art sales too.  
From a car show to plenty of arts and crafts events, The Villages is filled with active every week. Don't miss out on where you can go to find some unique pieces of work. The Rotary Club of The Villages is having its annual Chili Cook Off, Craft Beer Fest and Home & Garden Show on Saturday, and we have the details for you. A few reality TV star musicians are performing later this week, and if you enjoy basketball, there are several high school games for you to attend.

Also this weekend, there are a couple of collectible show and sales, a book expo and Artist 'Round the Square too.
