This episode of Coach Balachandran Sir has a very special guest gracing us - Karan Rastogi.
With a stellar junior career under his belt, Karan Rastogi was touted as the next best thing in Indian tennis. He was semifinalist in the 2004 Jr Australian Open and he had a career high junior ranking of #4. He was also a bronze medallist for India in 2010 Asian Games and has represented India in Davis Cup. But injuries played havoc with his career forcing him to retire at 25.
The next phase of his career took him to Hong Kong, where he took up coaching for both the Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams. He is now the National coach and Fed Cup captain for Hong Kong. He came back from retirement for a few ties to represent Hong Kong in Davis Cup.
