Citizen Power

In this episode of the podcast series, Barsha and Mon share their personal stories and experiences of intergenerational conflict with their families and community. They also explore their lived experience further through the intersectional lens, dissecting the impacts of intergenerational conflict across race, culture, gender and caste. ‘I think one of the reasons that Nepal, well maybe the refugee camps we both lived in, were culturally rich, was… I think because of our poverty, and this is not to undermine the strength of Nepalese/Bhutanese culture in binding people together’. In this heartfelt conversation, Barsha and Mon takes you on a journey of navigating culture across continents, sharing some joyful and some thought-provoking experiences and the realisation of deeper connection with culture for their holistic thriving.

Storytelling is a powerful tool to enable connection and social transformation within communities. All over the world governments are spending billions of dollars to keep the economy functioning.
