We tend to understand truth as a constant, unchanging, unbreakable guide we must adhere to but what if that is wrong. What if truth has free forming characteristics? Can we accept truth as more than the forms on the wall society gives us? Do you have enough courage to climb out of your cave into the mysterious realms of discovery and enlightenment?
We produce the personal worlds we live in according to our beliefs and perceptions. It is true that in order to change what we see we must change the way we think. But the way we think is directly connected to how we see ourselves, the power we believe in have. Therefore changing the way we think of ourselves give the ability to change the way we think resulting in a transformation in what we see in out personal world. Use this affirmation to develop a deeper sense of awareness of the powerful being you are and what you are capable of.
Jesus is not the only way to God and religion is not the only language, method, and passage to connect to the ultimate power that governs all life. You as an individualized aspect of the Absolute have the ability to connect to the Absolute. Consciously connecting to God doesn't demand accepting a savior it requires you to be aware of the power to save yourself.
When we consider the objective of religion is to transform the individual into the ideal person we realize that in the process of that transformation the individual losses their uniqueness in order to belong to the community of believers and being accepted into a deep and meaningful relationship with God. One believer must become like the community in order to truly belong to those that are accepted by God, therefore all believers of a religious community exhibit a common method of showing up in the world. They all share the same method of thinking, acting, dressing, perception, hearing, feeling and believing as they have been told this is what God desires. The individual must lose the religious idea of the God approved human and take up the task of finding ones self according to ones own standards and discover God , Self, and Enlightenment outside religion.
Religious ultimate truth give us a concept of who and what God is, but is that image of God accurate? God is not an object that can be directly observed like the Las Vegas strip yet and still ultimate truths are formed about God. How does this construction of God, this creation of the Divine rob the individual of the opportunity to identify God on an empirical basis?
The mainstream philosophy of manifestation says that we can create the life of our dreams and have whatever we want. Is this plausible? What happens when we do believe and do the visualization and have the emotion and energy wrapped around the life we want to manifest but it doesn't happen? Let's explore another philosophy of what manifestation is and how to obtain those experiences that lead to helping us reach our full potential.

Making Sense of God

Making Sense of God

2023-04-0915:06

How do we make sense of God?
Religion teaches that becoming more like its founders is the way in which an authentic relationship with God is established. The goal is to be more like the religious guide (Jesus, Muhammad, Moses, Buddha, etc.) and less like yourself. But being more like your religious figure suggests we as individuals seeking to have a deep and meaningful relationship with God lack the natural characteristics and attributes to establish a connection with God ourselves. Let's explore the possibility of connecting with God by being more like ourselves and not a particular religious figure.
We look at religion as a source of informing throughout the lifespan of the believer. Religion is a device that assigns identity to both God and humanity according to its own criteria but is religion a reliable source?
We get stuck in the idea and routine of trying to fit in, trying to be accepted and think this is where our power comes from; belonging. Our real power does not come from belonging to a group but by accepting who and what we are and expressing that uniqueness every possible moment we are alive on this planet.
Ultimate Truth, according to religion gives us a very rigid and immutable set of guidelines in with to live our lives according to. This singular system wishes to inform, define, instruct, and assign direction, purpose, and identity to humanity as a whole not taking into account the value of individuality. This episode we discuss how Ultimate Truth is a life giving source for the individual self expression instead of an oppressive chock hold on uniqueness for the sake of conformity.
It is a common notion that God changes mind, but I believe if this is an accurate description of God it is a handicap with severe consequences.
