EMDR stands for "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing." It is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method that helps people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms, and directly treats the way memory is stored in the brain. It is shown to be a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences. Is there a "perfect diet?" I don't think so. One of the challenges many of us face on our health journey is wading through the conflicting and confusing messages about "eating healthy." loved this!
I appreciate that you use, regularly, the word "grace." After listening to Episode 6, I have a little insight as to why. Women are taught to be cutthroat & cruel (behind the scenes of course) to get ahead. In creating that culture, the classiness and grace we are capable of has been lost. I believe that you can be kind, classy, graceful and get ahead in life. Thank you for sharing this conversation with your friend, Dr. Joy, with us.
Catching up and loving the podcast! I, Heather, commit to taking action on , being mindful of how close to bedtime it is when I choose to snack or eat and drinking more water in the upcoming month. I will look for the good in myself, I will celebrate my wins along the way, and I will stay true to the #allorsomething mindset – because I am fierce, worthy and capable, and mostly because I value myself and take action toward what matters to me.
love this and love u ! inspiration :)
