If you’ve been around peptides long enough, you’ve probably seen it — certain people react strongly to compounds like CJC, ipamorelin, or other common peptides, and suddenly they’re dealing with flushing, hives, GI distress, tachycardia, or brain fog.I break down what MCAS actually is, why some people are genetically predisposed, and why others develop it from environmental triggers, infections, autoimmune issues, or nervous system dysregulation. I also explain why traditional antihistamines often fall short — because they treat symptoms, not the upstream immune imbalance. Then I walk through my comprehensive MCAS stack: LDN, Thymosin Alpha-1, Thymalin, KPV, VIP, PEA, and even GLP-1 receptor agonists. I explain the mechanisms, dosing strategies, when to introduce each one, and how to think about this in phases instead of expecting a magic bullet. This isn’t a cure-all, but it’s what I’ve seen work coaching hundreds of people. If you’re sensitive to peptides or trying to get back to baseline after reactions, this episode will give you a structured roadmap.

It’s a senolytic, meaning it’s designed to help clear senescent “zombie cells” that accumulate over time from stress, aging, inflammation, and environmental load. Think of it like a tune-up for the body. It’s not a peptide you run for fat loss or acute injury healing. This is the kind of compound you may use once or twice per year to help keep the internal ecosystem cleaner, less inflamed, and functioning at a higher level.I walk you through what FOXO4-DRI is, where it came from, and the core mechanism that makes it interesting. Specifically, how it disrupts the FOXO4–p53 interaction inside senescent cells, triggers apoptosis, and largely spares healthy tissue. Then I cover what the animal data actually shows, what we can realistically expect in humans, and why the effects can feel “cumulative” over a few weeks, similar to how some people describe SS-31.I also share my personal reason for using it right now in the context of fertility and overall health optimization, plus the dosing strategies I’ve seen online versus the protocol I personally prefer.Want more direct access? Despite what most people assume, Pinealon is not the pineal gland bioregulator, but it does work powerfully on the brain and central nervous system, and in my experience it’s one of the best tools for circadian rhythm, sleep quality, and overall brain performance.I break down what Pinealon actually is a synthetic Russian-developed tripeptide, why the injectable form is the one I prefer, and what the research suggests about how it works at the cellular level. We’ll talk mechanisms like MAPK/ERK signaling, antioxidant effects in neurons, mitochondrial support, and why it may help reduce brain cell death and protect synaptic integrity. Then I get practical: the real-world benefits people notice, how I think about Pinealon for travel, jet lag, stress-heavy seasons, concussion history, tinnitus, and long-term brain aging, plus how I dose it. I’ll also cover side effects I’ve seen (including timing-related restlessness), and the stacks I like most, especially pairing it with Epitalon or Cerebrolysin. If you want a deep dive on a peptide that quietly overdelivers, this is the one.

Then I’ll compare each option in plain English—how it works, who it’s best for, and where it falls short. You’ll hear why I view hCG as the backbone for most men, when hMG becomes the “needle mover” for conception, where enclomiphene fits (and why I don’t love it as a decades-long solution), why kisspeptin is more of a libido layer than a true fertility replacement, and why gonadorelin is mainly a budget play for guys who are done having kids.Big takeaway: TRT doesn’t automatically mean sacrificing fertility—if you use the right strategy.

Most of us know caffeine. I love coffee and I still drink 1–2 cups most days. But if you’ve ever felt jittery, anxious, crashed hard, or noticed your sleep gets wrecked when you use caffeine the wrong way, you already know the downside. So I’m breaking down three compounds that I think every longevity and performance-minded person should understand: caffeine, theacrine (TeaCrine®), and paraxanthine.I’ll explain how these work in plain English: adenosine blocking (why you feel less tired), how they influence dopamine (focus and motivation), and why caffeine can sometimes spike cortisol and adrenaline. Then we’ll compare the real-world “feel” of each one: caffeine’s punch, theacrine’s smooth long-lasting energy with minimal tolerance, and paraxanthine as a cleaner, more precise “caffeine 2.0” option that clears faster.I’ll also share exactly how I personally use them: coffee in the morning, paraxanthine in the afternoon when needed, and theacrine when I want energy without sacrificing sleep. If you want, I can also rewrite your intro and the final 60 seconds so the episode flows tighter (without changing your voice), and I can create a clean on-screen “dose + timing” slide you can reuse in future supplement videos.

It’s not a nootropic in the classic “stimulant” sense, and it’s definitely not a limitless-pill type compound. Instead, it works upstream, supporting the brain by upregulating BDNF, enhancing neurogenesis, improving synaptic connectivity, and reducing neuroinflammation.I first heard about P21 years ago through parents of neurodivergent children who were experimenting with intranasal use and seeing meaningful changes. That sent me down the research rabbit hole. Since then, I’ve used it personally, worked with others using it, and spent a lot of time reviewing the animal data behind it.In this episode, I break down what P21 actually is, how it works mechanistically, why it’s often compared to Cerebrolysin (and why it’s very different), and where I see its real-world use cases. We talk memory, neurogenesis, Alzheimer’s and Down syndrome animal models, traumatic brain injury, vision effects, dosing strategies, safety data, and how I personally cycle it.This isn’t hype. There are no human trials yet. But the preclinical data is compelling, and in a world where sourcing Cerebrolysin is harder than ever, P21 stands out as a lighter, more accessible tool for long-term brain health.

We’re talking sildenafil for longevity, healthspan, and performance. The “little blue pill” has a reputation as an erectile dysfunction drug, but when you actually look at the mechanism and the data, it’s doing way more than that.I’ve been a proponent of low-dose Cialis for a long time, and I still am. But lately I’ve been experimenting with rotating between Cialis and Viagra because I notice I can build a tolerance to Cialis over time. It still works, but I don’t feel the performance benefits as strongly unless I push the dose higher. What I’ve found is that going four weeks on low-dose Cialis, then four weeks on low-dose Viagra, seems to keep me more responsive overall while still giving me the benefits that matter for longevity. In this episode, I break down the real mechanism. Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor that amplifies nitric oxide signaling and raises cGMP throughout the body. That means systemic vasodilation, improved endothelial function, better blood flow to organs, and anti-thrombotic effects through reduced platelet activation. And the downstream effects get even more interesting. We’re talking mitochondrial signaling through PKG, potential ischemic preconditioning effects, PGC-1α and mitochondrial biogenesis, AMPK activation, and dampening inflammatory pathways like NF-kB. This is why I think sildenafil deserves a seat at the longevity table, not just a spot in the performance category. Then we get into the human data and what I think is most compelling. Large datasets show associations with lower rates of cardiovascular events and lower all-cause mortality in PDE5 inhibitor users. We talk heart attacks, strokes, endothelial repair, and why this class may act like an exercise mimetic for certain people by improving hemodynamics and oxygen delivery. We also cover pulmonary benefits, including its FDA-approved use for pulmonary arterial hypertension, and why that matters for aging lungs, sleep apnea-related pulmonary issues, and even high-altitude physiology. The brain section is the one that makes most people stop and rethink everything. There are observational datasets suggesting meaningfully lower Alzheimer’s and dementia incidence in sildenafil users, plus plausible mechanisms tied to cerebral blood flow, synaptic plasticity, inflammation reduction, and mitochondrial support inside the brain. I’m not saying it’s a magic bullet. I am saying it’s one of the more interesting repurposing conversations in longevity right now.

I’ve used it for years in a cycled on, cycled off way, because when it works, it really works. The two big reasons people care about Cardarine are simple. Endurance and lipids.I break down why endurance athletes love it, why it makes cardio feel almost effortless for me within a week or two, and why it’s not “a stimulant fat burner,” but can still absolutely support a fat loss phase when your training and diet are dialed in. Then we get into the science. I walk you through the background, how it was developed as an “exercise in a pill,” and the human trial data showing improvements in HDL, triglycerides, ApoB, liver fat, and insulin markers. And yes, we address the elephant in the room: the rodent cancer findings, the lack of long-term human data, and how I personally think about risk, dosing, and cycling. I’m not here to tell you what to do. I’m here to give you the data, how I interpret it, and let you make an informed decision. Also, at the end, I tease another compound you may want me to cover next: GW0742.

It’s a systematic, education-first breakdown of the actual arguments being made, where those arguments come from, and whether they hold up under real scientific scrutiny.I walk you through:The steel-man case against blending peptides like GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, and KPVWhy certain claims sound scientific but fall apart when you check amino acid sequences, chemistry, and real stability dataHow AI-hallucinated or misattributed studies are increasingly being used to scare people in the peptide worldWhat real peptide stability science actually tells us about pH, copper coordination, aggregation, oxidation, and storageAnd why independent HPLC and degradation testing from multiple labs matters more than viral talking pointsI also share real-world context: how fear-based content drives engagement on social media, why I intentionally don’t operate that way, and why education, transparency, and trust matter more to me than shock value or “gotcha” arguments. At the end of the day, my position is simple:I don’t claim absolute truth. I do believe in doing the work, checking sources, looking at data, and helping people make informed decisions without fear.If you’ve been wondering whether Glow or CLO blends are a waste of money — or if you’ve felt confused by the conflicting information online — this episode is meant to bring clarity, not controversy. As always, I encourage you to verify everything for yourself, seek out opposing views, and decide what makes sense for you.

This is one of those “ancillary” peptides that people usually only associate with lungs or mold, but the deeper you go, the more you realize VIP is a master regulator that touches almost every major system in the body.I walk you through what VIP actually is (a 28–amino acid peptide discovered in 1970), why it’s produced all over the body (brain, lungs, heart, gut, endocrine organs), and why it works so differently than peptides like BPC-157, TB-500, or the GLP-1s. We’ll cover the core mechanisms in a way that’s technical but practical: VPAC1/VPAC2 receptors, cAMP signaling, smooth muscle relaxation, glandular secretion, and immune modulation. Then I zoom out into a broad “survey” of VIP’s real-world use cases: lung function and oxygenation, gut motility and stool quality, autoimmune regulation, brain fog, mood/anxiety, circadian rhythm, and even dysautonomia patterns like POTS and long COVID. I also break down dosing best practices for subcutaneous vs intranasal, what to expect the first time you use it (including the niacin-like flush), and how I personally think about cycling VIP long-term.

If you’ve heard me talk about Prostamax before, Vesilute is its natural counterpart on the bladder side — and when paired together, they form what I call a bladder–prostate axis strategy for comprehensive urinary health in men. For women, Vesilute stands on its own as a powerful option for overactive bladder, especially during peri- and post-menopause.I walk through exactly how Vesilute works at a cellular level — how these tissue-specific peptides enter bladder cells, influence gene expression, and help restore a more youthful, functional state to the urothelium and detrusor muscle. We talk about why urgency, frequency, weak flow, nocturia, and even that awkward “can’t go when you need to” situation happen as we age, and how Vesilute may help normalize those patterns rather than just masking symptoms.I also dig into the Russian clinical data, including placebo-controlled trials in men with BPH and women with overactive bladder, showing meaningful improvements in urinary flow, symptom scores, and quality of life — all with an excellent safety profile and virtually no systemic side effects. This is where AI translation has really opened the door to research that’s been siloed for years, and I share what I found most compelling. From there, I outline my preferred injectable protocol: 1–2 mg daily for 60 days, run 2–3 times per year, why I prefer that over shorter high-dose protocols, and how to pair Vesilute with Prostamax in men for better overall results. I also talk through what people typically notice week by week, how long benefits tend to last after a cycle, and why even reducing nighttime urination from three trips to one can have massive downstream effects on sleep, energy, mood, metabolism, and overall longevity. This isn’t a hype peptide. It’s not flashy. But if bladder issues, frequent urination, BPH, or overactive bladder are impacting your sleep or quality of life, this may be one of the most underrated and cost-effective peptides you can use. My goal with this episode is to give you the full context — the science, the data, the real-world experience — so you can decide if it makes sense for you.As always, thank you for the support, for being here, and for helping me keep this information free and accessible. If you’ve used Vesilute, I’d love for you to share your experience in the comments so others can learn from it too.

While GLP-1s like semaglutide, tirzepatide, and retatrutide have been absolute game-changers for weight loss, metabolic health, and even addictive behaviors, there’s a smaller—but very real—subset of people who experience something unexpected: a reduced ability to feel pleasure.Personally, I’ve never experienced this side effect. In fact, GLP-1s have done the opposite for me by giving me more mental clarity and freedom from compulsive behaviors. But enough people have reported feeling emotionally flat, unmotivated, or disconnected from things they used to enjoy that it deserves a serious, evidence-based conversation. In this episode, I break down what anhedonia actually is, how it differs from depression, and why it can happen with GLP-1s from a neurochemical standpoint—specifically dopamine signaling and reward circuitry in the brain. We’ll look at the clinical data, real-world reports, differences between GLP-1 compounds, and why dose, speed of titration, weight loss, hormones, and lifestyle factors all matter. Most importantly, I share practical strategies for mitigating these effects so you can still harness the benefits of GLP-1s without sacrificing joy, motivation, or quality of life.

I’m telling you right now — that’s not the use case, and if that’s the expectation, you’re going to be disappointed. What I am going to talk about is the real longevity optimization lane: strategic, disciplined, a few times per year — mostly around preserving and building muscle, improving body recomposition, and supporting healthspan as IGF-1 declines with age. We’re going to break down what IGF-1 LR3 actually is (and how it’s different from other IGF options), the mechanisms that make it so interesting beyond “muscle building” — including some under-discussed mitochondrial and brain angles — and then we’ll talk practical use: timing, why I prefer post-workout, how to avoid the biggest mistake people make (hypoglycemia), and why this isn’t a “beginner peptide.”I’ll also explain where IGF-1 LR3 fits in the bigger picture if you’re already doing TRT, GH peptides or HGH, and metabolic optimization. And as always — if you want the links, the resources, and the back catalog of my deleted YouTube content, make sure you’re on the email list. Sometimes you’ll see it spelled Thymagen, but I’ve always preferred “Thymogen” because it just rolls off the tongue. Either way, we’re talking about a bioregulator peptide that works specifically on the immune system, and it’s one that’s been floating around research circles for a while… but I haven’t gone deep on it until now. Most of you have heard me talk about Thymalin — and I love Thymalin. I’ve used it a lot, and in certain use cases I even like it more than Thymosin Alpha-1. But here’s the key: Thymalin is broad-spectrum. It’s like a full thymus “reset.” Thymogen is more targeted — especially for the “post-viral” use case, that lingering sickness, the recovery phase, or even as a proactive tool when colds and flus are making their rounds. And honestly, that’s exactly why this episode matters right now, because I’ve been dealing with a little head cold myself after travel and lack of sleep. In this episode, I break down what Thymogen is (a synthetic dipeptide: L-glutamyl-L-tryptophan), why it’s interesting from a longevity perspective, and what we know about its safety history in Russia. Then we get into the mechanisms: T-cell maturation, immune surveillance, neutrophil function, and even some of the signaling pathways it appears to influence like ERK, mTOR-related proteins, STAT1, and chromatin remodeling. I also explain why I see Thymogen as more of an immune modulator than a blunt “stimulator,” which matters a lot if you’re dealing with inflammation or an overactive immune system. We’ll talk practical benefits — fewer infections, better recovery, inflammation control, and why the animal data is intriguing when you look at lifespan and tumor incidence. Then I’ll give you my straightforward protocol: 1–2 mg per day for 30–60 days, usually once or twice per year as a tune-up… and also how I’d deploy it if you’re actively sick or dealing with something that just won’t clear. Finally, I’ll compare Thymogen vs Thymalin, and I’ll explain how you can use them together: Thymalin as the foundation, Thymogen as the fine-tuning. And I’ll even touch on when I’d consider stacking them with Thymosin Alpha-1 if you’re trying to cover every base for immune protection. Before we jump in — thank you. Seriously. As we wrap up 2025, I’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude for the messages from people telling me they’re getting real results. I don’t exist without you guys. There are different bodies, different lifestyles, different physiologies, and different goals. What I do have is experience, data, and a strong personal preference that I explain openly throughout this episode.I walk through the actual pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics behind IM versus SubQ testosterone—how absorption differs, how peak-to-trough curves behave, how injection frequency changes everything, and why the conversation shifts entirely once you move into every-other-day or daily microdosing instead of once-weekly injections. We also get into topics most people gloss over or oversimplify: estradiol conversion, hematocrit changes, mood and cognitive stability, libido and sexual function, injection site reactions, mast cell activation, carrier oils, body fat considerations, and why some people feel incredible on one method and awful on the other.Importantly, this episode is not just for men. I spend time addressing testosterone therapy for women, dosing considerations, concentration issues, and why delivery method matters just as much—if not more—when female physiology is involved. At the end of the day, my goal isn’t to convince you to inject the way I do. My goal is to give you enough context, data, and real-world nuance so you can make an informed decision, experiment intelligently, and work with your labs instead of against them.As always, I’m incredibly grateful to be able to do this work and to have a community that actually wants to understand hormones at a deeper level.
