Doreya Karim is the Managing Director and researcher of BioGeometry. A modern design science rooted in ancient Egyptian wisdom and one that claims to unlock the subtle energy codes behind sacred power spots. As the daughter of Dr. Ibrahim Karim, the founder of BioGeometry, she has dedicated her life to understanding how shapes and proportions can create healing environments that harmonize our relationship with technology. What drew me to have Doreya on the show was discovering that there is a systematic way to understand why certain places throughout history have consistently been chosen for healing and spiritual practice. The idea that ancient site selection wasn't random but based on detectable environmental conditions that we could potentially reproduce in our modern spaces felt like something worth exploring. Brian Whetten is a leadership coach, author of Yes, Yes, Hell No! and the founder of Core Coaching. He's spent the last 25 years reverse-engineering how some of the most successful entrepreneurs combine high consciousness with high agency. Along the way he's discovered what separates people who just talk about consciousness from those who actually overcome "the wall" to unite power, consciousness, and integrity to create lasting value. Much of our conversation centered around the image below that sparked our relationship and the inspiration for the episode title. Most people get stuck choosing between spiritual bypass and achievement addiction, never figuring out how to integrate both dimensions successfully to embody the illusive "agentic sage" territory. Brian does an incredible job sharing how you can move to the top right and expand your leadership to integrate the best of both worlds. Dr. Srikumar Rao is the founder of The Rao Institute, a celebrated TED speaker and bestselling-author who created the pioneering Creativity & Personal Mastery course. A program so impactful it has remained the only business school course in the world with its own alumni association. It is taught at Columbia Business School, London Business School, Kellogg, and Haas (UC Berkeley). In this conversation, we explore how someone teaches the dissolution of the separate self to future business leaders. Dr. Rao's approach challenges the very foundation of Western achievement culture by showing high performers that their greatest breakthroughs come not from being better doers but from recognizing they're not doers at all. Chip Conley is the founder of Modern Elder Academy, the world's first midlife wisdom school, and a bestselling author who has become the leading voice on conscious aging and midlife transformation. Before creating this revolutionary educational platform, he spent 24 years building Joie de Vivre into the second-largest boutique hotel company in the US then joined Airbnb at age 52 as the strategic advisor to the founders. He helped guide the startup to become the world's most valuable hospitality company. In this conversation, we explore Chip's complete reinvention journey and the practical framework he's developed for midlife transformation. We discuss the neuroscience of aging, the shift from ego to soul-driven living, and how to leverage accumulated wisdom in new contexts. I've always been fascinated by people who successfully reinvent themselves, especially later in life when it seems riskier and harder. Chip represents the gold standard. His journey from hotel mogul to tech sage to wisdom educator offers a practical blueprint for anyone feeling stuck in their current identity and ready for something new. This episode is a little different. My dear friend Tracy Lawrence, who is an extremely talented entrepreneur and executive coach, hosted me on her platform to discuss my new business Conscious Talent and the intersection of inner work and professional excellence. We both talk about our experience blending these two worlds as founders, and how we see the future evolving as this type of integrated path becomes more normalized. Dr. Tucker Peck is a clinical psychologist and meditation teacher who brings a unique perspective to the intersection of Western therapy and Eastern contemplative practices. With a PhD in clinical psychology focused on meditation research and decades of teaching experience across the globe, Tucker offers a grounded approach to combining psychological work with spiritual development. I've been getting this question a lot from listeners lately: "Should I do therapy or should I meditate?" It's usually asked with the assumption that you have to pick one path or the other. People seem to think therapy and meditation are competing approaches to wellbeing where one is better than the other. In this conversation, Dr. Tucker makes a compelling case for why forcing yourself to choose between these approaches might be exactly what's keeping people stuck. His perspective as someone who has mastered both worlds offers a refreshing take on an old debate. George Boyd is the founder of the Mudrashram Institute of Spiritual Studies and Mudrashram Publishing, author of 18 books, and a spiritual cartographer. Through the Mudrashram lineage, he reveals how it's possible to see, understand, and even traverse all spiritual paths active on the continuum of consciousness in a single lifetime. George's story is fascinating. In 1983, he was empowered by masters of an emerging lineage to bring forth what might be the most comprehensive spiritual teaching system ever developed. He shares that there are 73 distinct spiritual paths active in human consciousness right now. And with the right approach you can access all of them. What drew me to George's work is my friend Ian. He's a fellow entrepreneur whose path I deeply respect, so I decided to take the Mudrashram 10-week meditation course. I learned A TON. In this conversation, we explore the scope of accessing multiple spiritual paths simultaneously, why most seekers are working on the wrong techniques for their current level, and how George's lineage provides a "bridge path" perspective that can see the entire spectrum of human spiritual potential. Dr. Sandra Rose Michael is the inventor of the revolutionary scalar wave technology called the Energy Enhancement System (EESystem). She has dedicated over 45 years to developing what may be the most advanced healing tech on the planet. I don't say this likely. I have spent over 100+ hours in an EESystem and have been blown away at its impact on my body, as well as the miracle stories you can read all over the internet. In this conversation, Dr. Michael shares her story of creating this technology and explains exactly how it works at the quantum level. She claims that it uses bio-photonic light and scalar waves to repair and activate dormant human potential stored within our DNA. This restores our DNA to its original blueprint and creates a natural environment for the body to heal and regenerate. At some point in the future, I will do a full breakdown of my personal experience with the EESystem. One promising anecdote is that I just got my biological age report from Function Health, and I am 9 years younger than my actual age. I haven't been dialed in on my health for the past few years so I think the EESystem has played a big role in this. Raja John Bright is a Princeton graduate and longtime leader in the Transcendental Meditation movement who spent decades studying under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. In 1970 he was trained as a TM teacher under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and worked as his personal assistant until 1973.
