As spiritually minded people, we look to the Bible for all spiritual truth and guidance. Some people make claims about popular statements or sayings that sound like spiritual truths, but in reality, they are not found in Bible. In this episode, we will:
Briefly review almost 30 examples of statements or supposed truths that many people think are in the Bible but are not.
Discuss statements that are organized into 5 categories: History, Salvation, Christian living, Worship, and the Afterlife.
Examine what the Bible really says and whether there is a principle based on what these statements are saying that is consistent with the Truth.

In our world today, there are primarily two points of view, sometimes known by "liberal" versus "conservative" or "Godly wisdom" versus "Worldly Wisdom." As a result, there is a conflict of visions between many people today. This difference in how we view the world has unfortunately led to a noticeable increase in violence, and hateful rhetoric towards Christians. In todays episode, we will discuss:
The difference between liberal and conservative worldviews
Two kinds of wisdom

What should Christians do?

In this episode, evangelist Alan Hitchen joins us to discuss difficult Bible questions. There are some spiritual questions that can be difficult to answer for a variety of reasons. For instance, sometimes the Bible does not answer the question or sometimes that answer may cause us to have to choose between two clear biblical commands. We will consider some of these questions today, including these:
If a woman is divorced by her husband for any reason other than sexual immorality, according to Matthew 19:9, she would be an adulterer if she remarries. Does this mean that she cannot remarry, if she is the "innocent party"?
Can someone lie to protect themselves from physical harm? I am thinking of the example of Abraham telling Sarah to lie to protect themselves from harm.
How do I handle a situation where I must choose which one of God's laws to follow? For instance, I am commanded to give on the first day of the week, but I am also commanded to honor my father and mother (Eph 6:2). What if I only have enough money to fulfil one of these commands?

In this episode, we answer some questions that have been recently submitted to our web site (biblequestions.org). Some of the questions we will answer:
If a man came into your church and he was dressed as a woman, would you ask him to leave or would you hope that he would hear the word of God and change his ways and welcome him to come back?
Could God be passing judgement on Texas with the flooding and deaths of a christian church camp? And if so why?
Will you go to hell if you’re an addict but a Christian who believes and stays in the word I keep falling over and over?
God set a clear expectation with man that He must be regarded as holy and glorified before the world. In this episode, we want to look at ways in which we either glorify God or profane his name and discuss why this is so important. We will consider:
Biblical examples of those who did not treat God as holy and glorify Him
How God’s name is profaned when we are sinful
How our righteousness glorifies God
How we glorify God through our worship

In this episode, we answer questions that have been submitted to our web site over the years regarding miracles. We start by answering two fundamental questions: What was the purpose of miracles and are miracles performed today? From there we answer questions that have been submitted including the following:
Did Jesus perform miracles as God or as man through the power and work of the Holy Spirit?
What were the 7 miracles of Christ that were performed on the Sabbath, and what were their significance?
John 6:29 teaches that believing on Jesus is a work of God. Does this mean that God puts faith in a person`s heart by a miracle?
Did Jesus perform miracles on the lost or only on believers?
