Travel doesn't always have to be to a far away place.  You can experience great food culture in your own state.  Here's a suggestion: check out local BBQ competitions and treat yourself to short distance travel and great food!  John Hendrickson, a Pitmaster with several competitions under his belt, talks about how fun it is to attend a BBQ Competition and he shares some of his own tips for bbq cooking at home!
Mark Bommelje has visited Thailand many times.  He has family from the country and knows it well.  Listen as he describes experiences and food in Bangkok, Phuket and Chaing Mai.
