The Revelation of ChristJohn 1:16–18 Main idea: The Word (Christ) makes the Father known. Through Christ, we have received the gift of God’s fullness (1:16). The Illumination of ChristJohn 1:4-9 Main idea: Christ dispelled the darkness and revealed the truth. The light eliminates darkness (John 1:5; Gen. 1:14–19).
