This podcast was very informative for moving users away from IE and getting them to explicitly use Edge. By using the IE compatibility and rendering sites within Edge using IE mode makes this possible. Furthermore the sandbox environment in which Microsoft Defender launches applications from is a great security feature to prevent malware.
