Little late with this episode as I try to get them out on the 1st of each month, but hey, I've been busy! Off to the capital (and what I called home for ten years) later this month where my teenage daughter will attend a gig. Three more days and then it's FINALLY vacation time! Not that I have much planned, but knowing I don't have to ride the bus to work for a month is pretty sweet. "It's the most wonderful time of the year" some might say and I agree! If for no other reason that it's perfectly legit to drink glögg in this part of the world and because I generally post my top ten countdown of the best albums released in the year that has (soon) gone by. With a bit of luck, YOUR favorite record made the cut.
Heading into a chilly November (in this part of the world at least) so best to keep warm moving about to nearly 39 minutes of great toe-tappers! That's my prescription and you should always follow the dj's order.
Reading Kathleen Hanna's "Rebel Girl" at the moment, a book I highly recommend. No Bikini Kill or Le Tigre on the playlist this time around, but I can still promise a thoroughly enjoyable mix of punk, hard rock, thrash, garage, rap and alternative.

Back at work after a pretty uneventful vacation. I've traded in some crappy music (collecting dust on my shelves) in exchange for excellent stuff at a couple of local record stores recently and that's always a hoot. Vacation is up and running and I lost track of time which is why this is coming out a day late (as if you care).
