Georgia Tech is off to a great start with their 2024 recruiting class. The Yellow Jackets made the Peach State a priority from the beginning and it’s paid off with Nell Fortner’s staff landing four of the state’s premier guards. In Dani Carnagie, Gabbie Grooms, Tianna Thompson, and Chazadi “Chit Chat” Wright, Tech’s future on the perimeter looks more than promising. All four bring different pieces to the overall puzzle. Here’s a quick look at what each brings to the table.

Wootten 150 Showcase is held annually for some of the high school games biggest and brightest stars. Hosted by the group that is in charge of selecting players for the McDonald’s All-American Games, it gives participants a chance to both interact with and play in front of the committee members on hand. Here’s my takeaway on some of the best performances from senior class members.
Katie Gearlds knows first hand how good Purdue Women’s Basketball can be when the Boilermakers can retain the top in-state talent. Gearlds, a former Miss Indiana Basketball winner in 2003, was a college star in West Lafayette from Day One winning Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors in 2004. Entering her third season at her alma mater, Gearlds has already experienced success landing quality in-state prospects. She and her staff did it again twice this week landing two Elite 60 prospects in the Class of 2025 in the process in Avery Gordon of Brownsburg and Kira Reynolds of South Bend.
