Two out of three of the team hit the Apple Store, and all three have opinions about iOS 27. Siri AI turns out to be properly useful, VoiceOver keeps dropping out when AirPods are in, and somewhere in between there's a cross body strap, a burgundy iPhone and a campaign to bring back "struth".

Apple dropped new Macs with no fanfare, finally shipped a folding phone, and let Tim Cook actually walk out the door — and somehow the biggest fight of the episode is whether you can run a decent AI model in your spare room.

Everyone's seen the demos. but we wanted to know  whats under the shell. So Scott, Shaun and Garth sat down with Glidance founder Amos Miller and went straight into the tech stack — cameras, cost maps, three motors, the lot. What comes out is a much better story than "AI mobility device". It's a story about deliberately NOT using AI where thirty years of boring, reliable robotics already works, and saving the clever stuff for the one problem it's actually good at.
