As things are improving so quickly at the club, we often speak of the glory days of Milan. But my guest this time not only lived through some of the best of those years, he worked on a television show in England that covered Serie A for ten years on Channel 4. Now he's written a book, Golazzo: The Football Italia Years, which covers the amazing football from those years chronologically. Jonathan Grade was kind enough to join me and reminisce about the Golden Age of Serie A. While people have been assessing the state of things, I asked longtime guest of the podcast Pete to return and discuss the current state of Milan. The catastrophic injury crisis at the club right now is so severe that I actually recorded a podcast about it. And I honestly don't know which of those things is more shocking or distressing. However, I did not take my task lightly, I wanted to talk to someone with some expertise. So I invited David back, who is a lifelong Milan fan, but is also a brilliant physiotherapist by trade. With Milan in the USA, I wanted to talk to someone who attended one of the friendlies, so I invited Sofia back on, since she attended Juventus-Milan with me.
