Our first episode for 2024 is HERE! With 15 years experience in the industry, Hazel Savage is a music-tech lifer, guitarist and former CEO/Co-Founder at Musiio, who I had the pleasure of working with back at my Universal days. So when Hazel said yes to coming on the podcast, I was excited to catch up and hear all her news…it had been a while! Hazel started her music-tech journey as an early employee at HMV and Shazam and spent time understanding the pain points of the industry (that AI could solve) while at Pandora, Universal and various other music companies before launching Musiio in 2018 and then selling the business to SoundCloud in 2022. This episode is a FANTASTIC listen, enjoy! ---------- Related links: https://www.instagram.com/businessbosscollective/ https://www.instagram.com/digitalcollectiveco/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/hazelrebeccasavage/?originalSubdomain=uk https://www.instagram.com/hazelsavage/?hl=enSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this week’s episode of #AMomentWithModernMentors, Mia McLeod had the pleasure of chatting with St Remio founders Julia Tink and Trent Knox. The wife-husband duo and coffee innovators. After that moment, the vision for St Remio changed to become a brand that championed the coffee growers and gave back to them. Their mission is to “change people’s mindset away from commodity and into the community.” In 2019, they visited Rwanda to open a Cupping Lab that not only produces sustainable coffee but empowers coffee growers through funding education and infrastructure! The pair are extremely dedicated to doing great things for others with the support of their customers and say that’s what motivates them when the going gets tough.
