Join Freddy Morris and Joe Juvland as they dive into the sort of dated The Twilight Zone episode "The Fugitive." In this story, a kindly old man named Old Ben delights the neighborhood children with his playful tricks and shape-shifting abilities. But when two men arrive claiming he must return to his home planet, the tale takes an emotional turn, revealing themes of identity, escape, and the innocence of childhood. Freddy and Joe explore the episode's heartwarming moments, its unique blend of sci-fi and fantasy, and how it fits into the larger legacy of The Twilight Zone.

This week Louis Fowler picked us a doozy - the anthology film, Satanic Hispanics. We had a lot of mixed feelings on this one. Then we chat about what else we've been watching like RKO 281, The Blair Witch Project, Hope, and We Are Pat. Enjoy! Support us on Patreon! Join Freddy Morris, Joe Juvland, and Professor David D. Perlmutter Ph. D. of the College of Media & Communication at Texas Tech University as they delve into the classic Twilight Zone episode, "To Serve Man." In this iconic 1962 episode, Earth makes first contact with an alien race called the Kanamits, whose intentions seem benevolent. They offer advanced technology, end world hunger, and promise to elevate humanity to a new era of peace. But a cryptic book they leave behind, titled "To Serve Man," hides a dark secret that only becomes clear too late. This podcast explores the episode's themes of trust, deception, and the perils of blind optimism, as well as its lasting impact on science fiction storytelling.

Hispanic Heritage Month continues with Louis Fowler's second pick, Rosario. We didn't quite love it, so we try to fix it. Then we chat about what else we've been watching like Monsters of God and Dark Winds. Plus, Andy & Freddy review the new Resident Evil from Zach Cregger - spoiler free.  Support us on Patreon!
