Leddy Hammock Highlights: Inspired by lyrics to “God Is” by Rich Fagan based on the “Prayer for Protection” by James Dillet Freeman: In the morning when I rise and before I close my eyes, Anytime I’m in despair, I just speak this little prayer – God’s light surrounds me. When the cold winds start to blow and they beat upon your door, Every night will have its dawn, hold this thought as you hold on – God’s love enfolds you. We all hear the Spirit call. It’s a small world after all. Bound together in and through this one common, simple Truth: God’s power protects us. God’s light surrounds us, God’s love enfolds us; God’s power protects us; the presence of God watches over us; Wherever we are, God is!
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Inspired by lyrics to “Planting Seeds” by Daniel Nahmod: I plant good ideas. Whatever grows will grow. Whatever is of Spirit thrives. Whatever fails will fail. Whatever good seed I plant and praise multiplies. What’s meant to soar will soar. We are planting seeds, nothing more.
Leddy Hammock Highlights: “There are loved ones who have moved on in both seen and unseen lands, Who will never really be gone from the joining of our hands.” “As our voices rise in union, healing flows through you and me. An accord of soul communion makes a sacred harmony.” “There’s a oneness in the Spirit and that bond shall ever be. Sing it strong so all can hear it! We are one in Unity.” “Let the circle be unbroken, by and by, Lord, by and by. Let there be no separation under Spirit’s endless sky.”
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Inspired by lyrics from “I Know God” by Denise Rosier: I have felt the Spirit stirring in my soul, deep in my soul. I will give love, I will speak peace, all because of the love that got a-hold of me — so wide open, so amazing, it takes my breath away when it occurs to me. When the Spirit in me meets the Spirit, I have felt this fire burning in my soul. In a world where so many feel lost, I know God.
Leddy Hammock From “I Am the Place where God Shows Up” by Eddie Watkins, Jr.: “There is no spot where God is not. I am not alone and there is nothing I have to do on my own. I am the place where God lives and breathes and has Its being. I am the place, you are the place, we are the place where God shows up.”
Leddy Hammock Highlights: From “All Is Grace“ by Melinda Wood Allen: Grace (peace and joy) within me; grace is all I know, Grace from the heavens; grace from the earth. Grace is all around me, everywhere I turn. All is good, all is well. All is grace, all is grace. It’s all good, I am well. In this grace, this loving grace.… All is grace, all is grace. It’s all good, I can tell. In this place, this loving place, all is grace.
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Lyrics to “Everything Changes” by Sue Riley and Tom Kimmel When everything changes, I can change anything. Turning the pages, everything’s new. If life’s little stages are teaching me anything, it’s everything changes and I can change, too. When everything changes, I can change anything. Turning the pages, everything’s new. If life’s little stages are teaching me anything, it’s everything changes and I can change, too.
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Lyrics to “No One Gets to Heaven [If Anybody Else Is Left Behind]”: by Tom Kimmel & Klaus Caprani: “No one gets to heaven if anybody else is left behind.” “There is a light in the dark when we need it the most.” “There is a way through this world if we keep this in mind ….” “We’ll meet on that heavenly shore in the sweet by and by. No one gets to heaven if anybody else is left behind.”
Carol Record Highlights: Inspired by Myrtle Fillmore’s Healing Letters & “This Is What I Know” by Jan Garrett: Each of us is “a child of God” (MFHL). “This is what I know: That we are all connected, the universe reflected in each shining part” (JG). “Be still and know…. I rest in the assurance that… all is well” (MFHL). God is “nearer than my breathing, closer than hands and feet” (JG). “The Spirit of God” … stands “forth in the individual as the expression of divine ideas from the mind of Being” (MFHL). “And so I receive all I can be…” (JG). We find that if we “just love folks and live happily among them, they will love” us (MFHL). “And so it is, and so be it.” When I know it, “I can see it…. and now we begin…. Amen, amen, amen!” (JG).
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Lyrics to “Get out of the Way” by Eddie Watkins, Jr.: “Runnin’ ‘round fixing this and that, Giving it up to God and then taking it back. Just release and let it go. You don’t even have to think about it no more. ….Get out of the way and let God do Its thing. You look like the weight of the world’s on your back. Just take a deep breath and cut yourself some slack. All that drama ain’t good for you. You couldn’t change what is if you wanted to…. Get out the way, let God do Its thing. The sun is gonna shine and the river’s gonna flow. The tide’s gonna rise without your say so. The universe is working and the good is flowing. You don’t plant a seed and then dig it up and see if it’s growing…. Get out of the way and let God do Its thing.”
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Inspired by lyrics to “Share the Dream of Peace” by Sue Riley, David Roth, & Jana Stanfield: “My skin may be a diff’rent shade, my language not the same. I pray in different places, I call God by different names. My clothing may not be like yours, might stand out in a crowd. But in universal Spirit, there are diff’rences allowed. We have the precious present and our presence holds the key to a world that is more loving, as we share the dream of peace. My arms embrace my children. I fall in love, I cry. I marvel at the sunset as another day goes by. But halfway ‘round the world, I know, your rain brings rainbows, too. Though we might seem so different, I am just the same as you. Imagining the future, remembering the past. Together we can co-create a vision that will last. Leddy Hammock Highlights: If it’s love you’re after, give it away! Good news or laughter, give it away! Now that you’ve found it—give it away. You’ll be astounded! Give it away! A penny saved won’t grow, no matter what you do. But if you give, it will be given back to you! Pressed down, shaken together, running over, give it away!
Carol Record Highlights: Inspired by statements by Myrtle Fillmore in “How I Found Health” I speak words of strength and power to all the life centers in my body. I do not become discouraged, but keep right on, both silently and aloud, declaring words of Truth to every organ and system of my body. I tell them that they are free, unlimited Spirit. I ask the Father to forgive me for past error thought. I promise Him that I will never again retard the free flow of that life through my mind and my body by any false word or thought. I bless my body and encourage it with true thoughts and words. I do not let any worried or anxious thoughts into my mind. I let a little prayer go up every hour that Jesus Christ is with me, helping me to think and speak only kind, loving, true words. I am sure that He is with me, because I am peaceful and happy.
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Inspired by lyrics from “Father’s Day” by Johnsmith: In my heart, I hear my Father say that He loves me. God, my Infinite Father, hears my every prayer and answers me in perfect ways. In my heart, I hear my Father tell me that He loves me. So, now, I try to say “I love you,” every chance I get.
Leddy Hammock Highlights: I give and serve in love, so I always have more than enough. We give generously and receive gratefully. There’s plenty here for us all to be thankful for. As I go through this day, this is my creed: I have more than enough of all that I need.
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Inspired by lyrics to “There Are Moments” by Sue Riley, Richard Mekdeci, and Harold Payne The first breath of the morning whispers in my ear: ‘You’ve got it all inside you.’ I open my heart and it appears! Even in an ordinary day in an ordinary life, there’s beauty all around me when I look up to see it. I don’t want to miss the rainbows! There are moments, there are moments, where magic happens unexpectedly. There are moments, precious moments, where the wonder of the world is all I see.
Leddy Hammock Lyrics to “Ready, Willing, and Worthy” by Richard Mekdeci: “I’m ready, willing, and worthy to open my heart and receive All of the heavenly blessings there for me when I believe. I’m ready, willing, and worthy, and that’s all I have to be, ‘cause when I’m ready, willing, and worthy, God is able to bless me.”
Leddy Hammock Inspired by lyrics from “Footprints” by Sue Riley: The Mother side of God’s Love is selfless and unconditional, as if to say, “Stay right behind me and I will lead the way.” The Mother side of God’s love knows how to let go, as if to say, “I know you are frightened, but I will keep you safe.” The Mother side of God’s Love gives life as a labor of love, as if to say, “You shall know no harm.” The Mother side of God’s love shows us the path and helps us find our way, as if to say, “Walk in my footprints.”
Leddy Hammock Highlights: Lyrics from “If I Were Brave” by Jana Stanfield: I am brave! What would I do if I knew that I could not fail? If I believed, would the wind always fill up my sail? If I were brave I’d walk the razor’s edge where fools and dreamer’s dare to tread, And never lose faith, even when losing my way. What step would I take today, if I were brave? What would I do today if I were brave? What if we’re all meant to do what we secretly dream? … Like the mighty oak sleeps in the heart of a seed, are there miracles in you and me? If I refuse to listen to the voice of fear, would the voice of courage whisper in my ear? What would I do today if I were brave? I am brave!
Carol Record Highlights: Lyrics to “Right Where I Belong” by Claudia Carawan, Sloan Wainwright, & Sue Riley: Now, in this room full of smiling faces, I know I’ve found my home. This is where joy lives. This is where love is. This is a place where I am strong. This is where eyes meet, where kindred hearts beat. I am right where I belong. Now that my heart is opened, there’s no place I’d rather be. This is where joy lives. This is where love is. This is a place where I am strong. This is where eyes meet, where kindred hearts beat. I am right where I belong!
