Hello and welcome to the very first episode of Relatable. I am running solo today. In this episode you will hear a little bit about my story and where the inspiration for "Relatable" came from. You will also discover why being "Relatable" is an essential life skill and some home truths about why the "Principles" behind each and every relationship in your life are exactly the same. Why anyone regardless of their past is already perfectly designed to be great at relationships. As well as the fact that relationships can be effortless and easy which flies in the face of everything we have ever been told about them. The third episode of Relatable is with an absolutely delightful couple, Emma-Kate Rose and Robert Pekin. E-K and Rob are from Brisbane Australia and run an incredible social enterprise business called, Food Connect. Food Connect's focus is on creating a fairer food system for farmers, the environment and the public. I helped E-K and Rob a few years ago with their marriage and we have become firm friends since then. In todays episode, they were generous enough to share with us what it was like to get help and the impact it has made on their relationship, marriage and business. Episode no 2 is with the very wise and wonderful Linda Pransky. Linda lives and runs a practice in Washington State and is married to Dr George Pransky - who wrote the Relationship handbook. Linda has been a teacher and mentor of The Three Principles Understanding for over 40 years and knows a thing or two about relationships. Both she and George have been mentors of mine and between the two of them have worked with hundreds of couple, individuals and organisations. Today we take a look at the power of Getting Over Yourself. The fact that people have a natural tendency to get over things because that os the true nature of our state of minds. We also discussed Goodwill what it is and why this is so helpful in our relationships. This week Im flying solo. I really want to expand how we view relationships, because there are so many things in life we are in relationship with and our ability to be great at them impacts things we never even consider. Our results in life literally depend upon our relationships with everything and I don't think this is something we take on board anywhere near enough, which is why we tend to look for fulfilment in the wrong places. The secret to fulfilment, connection and wellbeing lies under our very noses - in our innate ability to create relationships with anyone and everything. When we understand this, it really does become our secret superpower. Episode no 5 is with a wonderful mentee of Nicole Montgomerie. Nicole is the Director Of learning at Saint Barbara's Parish School in Roxby Downs South Australia. Nicole is an incredible teacher, mum of two gorgeous children and a very wise human being who completed my 12 month mentee program in early 2019 and is doing some wonderful things at her school teaching this understanding to both her pupils and parents alike. In todays episode we explore what she has seen for herself both in her personal relationships and her professional ones since she first came across this understanding at a three day event I ran, back in early 2018. I love Nicole's insights and I know you will get a lot of value from them too. If you want to find out more about Nicole and the incredible work she is doing with her students, parents and her community, please email me at hello@fionalukeis.com.au To download my free relationship masterclass click here and scroll to the bottom of the page: https://www.fionalukeis.com.au/ To join the waitlist for my next round of my online program Relatable, click here: https://www.fionalukeis.com.au/relatable-waitlist/

In todays episode I am chatting to Dr George Pransky. George is a previous mentor of mine and has been a teacher of The Principles behind the human experience for over 40 years. He has a brilliance with metaphors that makes it easy to learn and understand The Principles and today we are exploring what it is that has a human being go from seeing a relationship as easy, to one who sees their relationship as difficult and hard. It's a rich wonderful conversation, full of insights. Enjoy. :)
In todays episode I am running solo and dealing with something that I myself have struggled with in the past. Being Right! Wanting and needing to be right is a huge issue in relationships. It destroys goodwill, connection and trust and is something so many people come to me for help around. In this episode I look at why being addicted to being right, is a logical tendency for so many people, based upon our social conditioning. How we have learnt that in order to avoid pain, we had to get 'it right' at all costs. That learning from our mistakes, is not necessarily true and how we can let that myth go. That there is something else, a natural asset we all have, that we have never been taught to value and how now is the time to look in that direction and set your 'being right' addiction free. In todays episode I look at something that is often overlooked, misunderstood and undervalued in our lives. Wisdom. Wisdom is one of those things that people often discard as woo woo and only relevant to those 'spiritual types'. In todays episode, I break this misconception down and show you why appreciating, understanding and tapping into wisdom is one of the greatest things you can do for the quality of your life and your relationships.
Today, I have a very special episode of Relatable for you. Navigating mental illness in your relationship can be a lonely, overwhelming and frightening experience. In this weeks episode of Relatable, I have the delightful Elsie Spittle as my guest. Elsie embodies so much of what it means to rest in the truth of our spiritual nature, she shares so many gold nuggets for us all around what is available when we allow ourselves to be mentored by the intelligence behind life, to allow ourselves to have trust and faith in something bigger than ourselves. The tuning in and understanding of our spiritual nature plays a huge role in our levels of wellbeing, fulfillment, peace, calm, joy, compassion.,(I could go on and on). Which is wonderful for our relationships and our ability to do them well. This episode is a little longer than most, but I guarantee you will love everything Elsie shares with us. So grab yourself a cuppa sit back and enjoy this very special episode of Relatable
