Making the effort to tell a little bit of biography about the passengers was very touching. Very well done.

Congratulations on the podcast! Very interesting (and sad) story. I also loved the way you both presented it, with good humor, but without resorting to laughter every minute and without cracking jokes. Unfortunately, the hosts of many other podcasts out there about disasters and true crime keep laughing and telling unfunny jokes throughout the episodes.

Shelly, I found a really heartbreaking account on Facebook from a family member of one of those on the flight (Dr. Elkin Sithole, a South African National). https://m.facebook.com/notes/jozana-sithole/happy-20th-anniversaryto-the-worst-day-of-my-life/10152364756596300/ There may have to be a layover episode for this one. Despite being a domestic flight he wasn't the only foreign national on board. There were people from Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe on board.

I can't see anything other than the pilots side. The NTSB are a bunch of numptys who couldn't find a nail if it was shoved up their arse. Who like you said lack any ability to factor in the human factor. What morons.
