Well we are watching the news and maybe March 15 could be the day that we remember because the financial system may have started to go under and people are certainly fearful for what might be. We hope not and pray but remember that in some ways we all pay for somebody's mistakes. But if you're old like me you might be able to pass the trivia test about what famous event happened on 15 March, the ides of March. Well if you are a little bit curious maybe you'll listen to this 15 minute program and learn something you didn't know that. Well we will learn about 15 March, route 66, the history of the American automobile and why it's good to sometimes fill your head with useless knowledge. But because of all that you are one of the smarter people around and perhaps because of that being so smart you should be on the radio. So if you are smart you'll at least listen to the story and decide just how smart you might be and what you might do.
!t's Sunday night and thoughtful people take time to turn off the television and stop watching football and perhaps take a few minutes to think about their life and business and the week ahead. Well I did that and I don't think we're going to have a very good week, we should probably avoid a lot of the news and the other stuff about a world gone crazy, However may I take a few minutes, just 10 to suggest a few things from a man who's been long gone but his wisdom carries on and just a few thoughts might be helpful for looking forward and inward to make you better because there's very little you can do about life to make the stuff out there better right now. So let's try and work with what we can!

Take about 15 minutes for some entertainment, maybe some enlightenment and maybe a way to deal with your loneliness as I share what I hope are some interesting and helpful ideas about what to do if you feel lonely, and unimportant. But can I take 10 minutes to challenge you as I challenge me to seek to discover what is going on and what is real and what work we need to do this week.

And you should be curious to find out what it's all about. And then let me tell you about my friend who called me a coach and how that happened in one of the best coaching questions that I ever had and still do but once it cost me quite a bit of money. That happens... And you will I believe learn and enjoy story time with Stan on a Monday evening!
Of course the past is gone, the present is right here, but the mess is one that we cannot do very much about. The leadership that we have in so many organizations and institutions continues to make life difficult for all of us except those who are fortunate enough to be perhaps very wealthy. But with the rising lawlessness in the land even they are not safe anymore. So the motto and the directions that we need to have are very simple, looking forward. So I challenge you with that,and revisit one of the key success and critical success factors in life and that is to seek to be in live as one of the select 3%. And so I will mention that today but further explanation will follow. However it is time to remind ourselves that there are more important things than having all the good things and so there is a old story from an old book that can remind us the performance we give in difficult times and in bad situations it's not dependent on anything outside of us. I have been doing radio broadcasting for well over 40 years and I spent many years teaching others how to do that and I still do that. I think I do it quite well, And there is a long story behind it but I often times tell them to stand up. You will be at your best as a radio performer when you do not sit in a comfortable chair, but when you stand up tall straight and with personal power and energy, tell your story and show your stuff and make it thoughtful memorable and helpful. That's the start and there's even more but let's begin there as to why it's important that in so many things in life that you learn to stand up. I think you'll find this thoughtful perhaps funny but I know it can be helpful, So why don't you stand up now and listen to the program and kind of do some of the things that I suggest it'll make you a powerful presenter and radio broadcaster, And yes, Donald Trump this is for you. It's a long time ago story that has stood the test of time. And for those who are dealing with our own time and place, space, and problems and pathologies, and difficulties and seeking away to a transformation, this might be helpful. Just maybe we can be encouraged by learning something from the story and the song that can help us change our life starting now and perhaps forever right now. Sing a song and pray for transformation in your own life and situation.

Who knows for sure it's not important but it's a part of my story and I think it might be helpful to you because it could encourage you to always try and do new and different and unique things. Remember the two most powerful words in the English language are, we're different! I was a performance coach and still am... We seldom quit but eventually we just go away and let smarter and younger people take over. But when I first began I found a very unusual way to help my clients. I also discovered that since many of my clients were entrepreneurs they didn't have much time to read and did you know that the rate of dyslexia, the inability to read things correctly, is way above the national average for those who are of the entrepreneurial type in character. So I went back to my first love and started doing radio programs just for each client. So here's the story and see what you think and then try and learn the lesson that is right before you.. I had never heard of it before. I've heard of CEOs and all of the other C guys and gals that hang around corporate places and think they are important and some of them are. And I was even the inventor of the idea of a CHO. Which by the way could be one of the more important positions in your organization. But I had never heard of a CDO and now I have it is rather interesting and I'm gonna tell you all about it because it means something. It might be something important for you to even think about in many ways. Yes heads off to the CDOs...; so let me tell you who they are. And I just invented by accident a great marketing and maybe even a political and social slogan. Who truly makes America great. Well it's certainly not the bootlickers but it might be the people who wear them. You might learn more by accident this Monday then you could have all day!
Just maybe there's a bit of a lesson there that we need to remember almost every day. And remember this, risk is a four letter word for life. Today my friend Tim Hoerr ... who left the safety of a good job with an accounting firm and became an entrepreneur with all of the highs and lows, agonies and ecstasies that are involved in that. He is also a man of deep faith and will join meet with me and challenging you with the statement that God might want you to be an entrepreneur or at least a think like one. And to really grow in life you're going to have to start to seek out and perhaps even take significant risks. My friend Bob who has been a boss for many years in many situations and has told people what to do found out that many of the things that he had believed and done might not be the best way to do things, in fact they might even be wrong. Do you have anything to say about the mess were in. We most certainly are, the political social and economic relational wartime stuff that is going on is making for bad times. Well what are we going to do about it? Most of us can do nothing about it. But there are ways of creating a little bit of personal well-being and so we should find ways to do that whenever we can. One of my good coaching clients has just decided that he's going to at least do a small part as he is getting his own YORS... Just like Walmart and a number of other smart businesses, places of worship, smart organizations, and social service and welfare and service groups. They all need YORS. it's hard to believe how stupid and insensitive and sometimes just plain ignorant even those people who are influencers and should know better often are. The news pundits and commentators suggested that Governor Kristi Noem from the state of South Dakota obviously should not be considered for being a vice presidential candidate or perhaps anything else because in her book she admitted that she shot her bad dog. Well if you are old you probably remember one of the saddest of the Walt Disney films. You have to go back to the 50s and I remember the deep sadness of watching the film of a wonderful old dog that the family called Old Yeller Of course the final scene is deeply disturbing and I actually went back and found it on YouTube and I was thinking about including it but probably better not. But Kristi Noem needs no defense from anybody as she was illustrating one of the great truths not only of life on the ranch... But indeed life itself
We continue to seek to learn more about how we can not only live in a transforming world but perhaps be the instigators perhaps the guides, and the creators of transformation experiences they can benefit all of us. In fact we might be living in the world where we have to do that in order to make it into the marketplace and survive and thrive. And could it be that the elements people want are really the same in their life, that what is important hasn't changed even though everything else seems to change. And could it be that so-called AI might be something else and perhaps it's more transforming stages could even give us a touch of a better life and even a touch of immortality. The trial of Donald Trump is becoming a legal farce ... And whether you like him or hate him, that's up to you but the way the trial is working is a perversion of justice. That's true whether you like to hear it or not. And recently a pundit said he should just get up and walk away and not come back. But then I segue into a conversation that I have as I make my way around the lake every day. I see cockroaches and caterpillars. Which one should I step on and which one should I not. Well let me tell you the obvious answer and why it has some very important applications to life in business for you right now today, and may be for a long time if you want to be successful and the leader in your life and business.
