Episode 10. Shaun Le Roux.

2020-09-1101:04:58

Cape Town by way of Castleford! Great to hear from Shaun, a very talented all round ball striker! The first + handicap golfer on the podcast, which confuses me! Kudos! A very popular guy on tour and sometimes misunderstood by the officials! Always entertaining and great to hear him reflect so fondly on what squash has given to him.
Great catch up with the second most notorious Pablo. 2020 has seen him take his golfing equipment to new levels. Dedicated to a strict 'buy it & the swing will come' development policy. Always fun to hear Pablo's side of the story, he takes us through the fall and rise of his rivalry with Chris Truswell & meeting a 90s sprint legend he'd named his cat after.
Wycliffe College Director and all round top bloke, Jonny Harford joins to talk twinning, winning and Torricini's nan. A man of many nicknames, Jon Barford, Mr Consistent, Daddy H....now sporting his new head shave.

Episode 4. Chris Ryder.

Episode 4. Chris Ryder.

2020-06-0801:00:37

Fantastic to have The Professor on the show. As expected, he touches on a great range of topics, from time wasting tips to fitness fads to a belter of a heavyweight boxing story! If I had to compare Chris to a 90s footballer (which I will because I love that sort of thing), he's the Teddy Sheringham. Classy, uses his head for that first yard and was next to me while I was in a dentist's chair. Arrivederci it's 1 on 1!
Episode 3. Michael McCue.

Episode 3. Michael McCue.

2020-06-0201:13:49

Canadian international Mike McCue drops in (several times) for a chat. He provides great insights into some of North America's top players, past and present. Eloquence is his forte. Single-handedly dragging the podcast up a notch with a high brow finale.
A cracking catch up with squash dude and tour buddy Peter Creed. Plenty of insight into Creedy's awesome personality and squash journey. Incidentally, he's the fella who took the Squash Toursit profile picture as we made our way across the US/CANADIAN border in 2012. Who knew it would now be used on a podcast?! A few connection issues towards the end of the conversation which is a shame. Some comical timing, as I cut him off in all his profound glory, and he disappears.
