Description

Thanks for Coming (TFC) is a podcast loosely based on cricket and everything that goes with it.

Those long two-hour commutes to an away day to bowl two overs and not be needed with the bat, another TFC in the books, but the sun’s shining and you’re having some beers with some blokes you kind of like from time to time, and life doesn’t feel all that bad.

If that sounds like your kind of summer, then you’ve found the right podcast.

Our hosts have both experienced a TFC or two in their time, but can now be found opening the bowling in the Surrey Premier League for rising stars Ploughmans CC.

It all started in 2005 for Adam Collins - jet setting across Europe, a 20-year-old Aussie backpacker found himself in a field in Cirencester, playing against a pub team from London called Ploughmans. And that’s where it hit him… maybe, just maybe, cricket was about more than just winning. Relive that tour game and plenty more with the Thanks For Coming team and the host of The Final Word cricket podcast, Adam Collins.
