The Numbers Game...

The Numbers Game...

2022-11-0143:13

Chris gets into the stats with Mike and Mark as we ponder our league table position. As well as looking at Hertha BSC's last three games, we wonder what impact the World Cup will have on the table. Will it be good or bad for Hertha? Hear what we think and let us know what you think as the last fixtures of 22 come thick and fast - yes, you read that right!
The Hertha BSC UK gang are back and still feeling positive - things are still looking up!
Anna gives her view on the draw at Mainz.
Join Mark, Chris, Mike and Anna (who for some reason is on a bus...) for the latest instalment of the Bertha BSC UK podcast. We are talking about last week's win, the transfer window and our dodgy defence.
The topsy-turvy start to the season continues but are we seeing glimmers of hope at Hertha BSC? The Hertha Berlin UK fan club podcast thinks so!
Anna reports live from the ground. Warning: Contains bad language!
It's the first official podcast of the new season and despite a new coach, some new players and new found optimism, it's a the same old Hertha. Or is it? The Hertha BSC UK crew find some hope in a shaky start to the 2022/23 season which has already seen us knocked out of the cup and a loss to Union Berlin - and we are only two games in! Apologies for the crackly audio in places, we are blaming the hot weather...
A conversation with Hertha BSC UK Fanclub chairman Chris Kemp as the Hertha Berlin pre-season tour comes to a close. Football was the winner!
Ending on a positive note. Ha Ho He!
Hertha UK March on with coverage from the last game of the tour
A quick ground hop and some more post-Forest reaction.
Reaction to the preseason game at the Pirelli Stadium
Live from the Notts Forest preseason fixture
Final instalment from the Hertha UK Gang on the first leg of the Hertha Tour of the UK
The Hertha UK gang share their Derby County experiences
Getting into match day fever with the gang. First with Halifax Town at St George’s Park, then looking to the Derby County game!
Another summer catch up sees Hertha BSC UK discuss the latest activity from the Hauptstadt. The Old Lady is about to hit the road and come back to the UK for a series of preseason games at Derby County, Nottingham Forest and West Brom - so hear all the plans about that. Also the latest transfers and comings and goings from the club - including new President and diehard fan Jay Bernstein.
Apologies for the lack of edits - we are missing our usual kit -but hopefully this hour+ of end of season Hertha Berlin analysis from Hertha BSC UK will make up for it.  Ha Ho He!
Players we want in, players we want out - no one is irreplaceable apparently as the crew look back on (another) rollercoaster season, and we are just halfway through. This is what being a Hertha fan is about and, come on, deep down we love it - especially now team spirit seems restored and we are beating Dortmund at home. We say farewell to Pal Dardai and welcome Tayfun Korket and again start dreaming of great things Cup wins, European places and avoiding relegation - we are nothing if not realistic...  Lars Windhorst we gave you our hearts... As usual, there's never a dull moment with Hertha BSC UK stalwarts Mark, Anna, Mike and Chris.  Have a listen and share your views on our Facebook page too. HaHoHe!
The Grind...

The Grind...

A brief improvement in form has seen Hertha Berlin climb the table in recent weeks. It hasn't been pretty, but it has been effective in picking up a few points. The big debate is whether we are happy to play ugly and get results or whether we should be expecting more. As the Union derby looms there is much debate on whether the game could be a key turning point of the season beyond Hauptstadt bragging rights. We also look ahead to the next few games and consider whether a cup run should be a big priority this year. As usual, there's never a dull moment with Hertha BSC UK stalwarts Mark, Anna, Mike and Chris.  Have a listen and share your views on our Facebook page too. HaHoHe!
