This week we have some news about buying habits of gamers, some more unions, Japan trying to crack down on AI, and Escape from Ducktov!  Then Peterson reviews a couple of Next Fest Demos. JD picks his Dice game.
On this week’s sode, Ubisoft pulls out their Confederate flag, Battlefield 6 is EA’s last gasp before the Saudis take the reigns, and Japan opens a new front in Pornogate. Then we play a Peterson-led Reindeer Game (which is always risky), then JD reviews Baby Steps.
This week Peterson creates our template apology video.  Discord is breeding terrorists, "I told you so" from litigator of Activision Acquisition, and more.  JD asks about games that let us down.
This week the news gets juicy.  And we're not talking pineapple juice (not this time, at least), we're talking about EA getting sold to the Saudis, another mom sues video games for not raising her son, Destiny 2, Costco?, and a bunch of other fun stuff.  Then Peterson talks about revisiting an old mobile game fling, and JD chooses his Dice game.  We also bully some video game execs exclusively based on their names like we're in 4th grade again.
On this week’s sode, Gabe Newell heads to congress, video game TV adaptations are the future, and everyone demands more remakes! Later we miscast some video game movie adaptations and try not to fall asleep on air.
In the news we have Borderlands 4 and the Pitchford response, Pokemon company files a crazy patent, Pornogate 2025 continues, LocalThunk is amazing.  Then we tell the game devs what games they should remaster.
I promise it gets better.  I'm talking about the audio quality.  It gets better about 18 minutes in.  We do some news and then turn tv shows into games.  Peterson picks his Dice game.
This episode is not brought to you by Pipo Burger but you're going to hear about it.  Nintendo movie studio, Light No Fire, Porngate continues, and Roblox takes over the world.  We talk about Pipo Burger.  Then JD Asks what are the most physically demanding games that aren't Pipo Burger.  Then JD reviews Merge Maestro while very obviously thinking about Pipo Burger.  We reroll the dice and then JD shows Peterson a picture with his Pipo.
This week we get hit again by tariffs, Bungie's boss is leaving, Silksong gets a release date and Trent starts a rap beef with Peterson.  We play some foodio games and JD picks his Dice game.
On this week’s sode, the saga of pornogate continues, Tencent tries to nuh-uh plagiarism, and Roblox is under fire for being a pedophilic hellscape. We do our very last listener top ten, Peterson Asks a great question, and JD reviews Lollipop Chainsaw!

It's a light news sode so we do another listener top 10, Peterson does a first impression of Rematch, and JD selects his Dice game.
On this week’s episode, it’s all about the porn! Pornogate 2025 is in full swing and the gooners have MasterCard and Visa in their sights! There’s probably some other news, but who really cares about that? Later, we talk about single player games we wish were co-op, then I review an indie horror game that made me pee my pants a little bit.
This week Ubisoft claims microtransactions are fun, JD sides with the pervs on video game freedom, Zenimax layoffs and some other bad news.  We are wrapping up the listener top 10s.
This week we talk about Steam getting rid of sex games, Microsoft getting rid of it's video store, Fallout 5 and more.  Then we do another listener top 10 and JD picks his Dice game.
On this week’s sode, the Subnautica 2 drama ramps up, your Steam hoarding is helping game developers, and the Great Hobbit Run was finally completed in LOTR Online! We do another listener top ten, hand out a first impression rose to Surroundead, and then Peterson reviews The Ghost of Glamping!
Episode 430 - Scrooging It

Episode 430 - Scrooging It

On this week's sode, Microsoft is laying off everyone, Ubisoft requires you to destroy your physical copy of your game, Charles Entertainment Cheese gets an...upgrade?, and a lot more.  We then go over a listener top 10 with possibly the best audio clip we've received to-date.
This week we have some bleak news, followed by some dope kudos.  Then we do a listener top 10 and play some Foodio Games with vegetables.
On this week’s sode, WB Games makes some more brilliant business moves, Nexus Mods has been taken over by venture capital, and Bungie has finally committed to delaying Marathon. Then we do another listener top ten and give a first impression rose to Undermine 2. Peterson selects his Dice game.
We recorded this one in person so we are little rusty.  It's fine.  Ubisoft doing the most Ubisoft stuff (by "most" we mean "worst"), Playstation says they've learned from their mistakes by making them all again, and some Riblets.  We do another listener Top 10 and Peterson reviews Doom: The Dark Ages.
This week we break down some of our top games at the Xbox Showcase, Playstation State of Play, and Summer Games Fest.  Then we do another Listener Top 10 - is it you!?
